Description
Antharas' Lair: Antharas's Lair, one of the most popular hunting zones, was redesigned in the Lineage 2 - High Five update. The location is now meant for a party of level 84-85 characters, and at the time of the update it was the hardest hunting zone. Monsters in Antharas's Lair have earth and dark attributes and their attacks are boosted by them, so keep this in mind when choosing your gear.
- Most monsters here are fairly ordinary, but watch out for the matryoshka monster Dragon Knight: after it dies, another Dragon Knight may appear, and then Elite Dragon Knight. If, by an unlucky combination of circumstances, several Dragon Knight are killed and one more Dragon Knight "crawls out" of each, and one more Elite Dragon Knight out of each of those, the party simply won't be able to cope with them, so be extremely careful with this monster.
- In the central part of Antharas's Lair there is a circle where monsters run around endlessly, and when you kill 5 different monsters they instantly reappear and join the run. These monsters have boosted physical attack and defense but extremely weak magic defense, so this spot is great for hunting with a party of mages.
- Also beware of Knoriks, the monster patrolling the cave: its stats are similar to those of Raid Bosses, and it casts a strong debuffing curse, but the drop from killing Knoriks is worth the risk.
