Castles

Feudal system (Manor)

  1. What the Manor system is.

Castle owners can sell Seeds from which players gather the Harvest. From this harvest, Castle owners can produce items for sale.

  1. Selling Seeds
    1. The type of Seed determines the type of Harvest.
    2. Castle owners decide which Seeds to sell and how many.
    3. The more Seeds are put up for sale, the cheaper they are.
    4. Using Castle Treasure NPC, Castle owners set the tax rate on Seed production.
    5. If there is not enough adena in the treasury, Seed production for that day is cancelled completely.
    6. Seeds cannot be sold on castle siege days.
  2. Buying Seeds.
    1. Players can buy Seeds from Manor-System Manager NPCs in each town.
    2. The number of Seeds you can buy is limited.
    3. Revenue from Seed sales and unsold Seeds are automatically placed in the Castle Treasury at the end of the day.
  3. Growing and gathering the Harvest.
    1. Plant|Harvest works like Spoil|Sweep for scavengers. Seeded monsters cannot be seeded again or re-seeded with another type of Seed.
    2. Seeded monsters drop only adena when they die. (No items will drop.)
    3. To gather the Harvest, you need to buy Harvester in town and use it on a killed seeded monster.
    4. Level checks apply when sowing/harvesting. (Same as for scavengers.)
    5. Monsters can be both Spoiled and seeded at once, BUT (!) Harvester must be used before Sweep.
  4. Buying the Harvest
    1. Depending on its type, the Harvest can be sold only in a certain town or in any other town.
    2. Castle owners set the purchase price of the Harvest.
    3. All purchases are immediately cancelled if there is not enough adena in the treasury.
    4. Castle owners can set either "low" or "high" rewards. Prices can be changed once a day.
    5. NPCs buyers automatically take 10% of all income, and all purchased items will be produced from the material.
  5. Production
    1. Castle owners can produce items.
    2. The final product is NOT sold at NPC but goes to the Castle owners.
    3. Castle blacksmiths (a new feature) will be used to produce items.
    4. The amount and type of items produced depend on the investment in Harvest gathering.
    5. Each investment (and production) lasts 2 weeks and does not depend on a change of owner. (Hmm, a fight for the Harvest — rise up, Children of the Corn!)
