Properties of the cursed swords

Demonic Sword Zariche is a sword always accompanied by bloodshed. Its master was once the Demon Bremnon, one of the four demon kings.

Blood Sword Akamanah is a cursed dual sword very similar to Zariche. How the sword appears, how long it can be held and the rules of PvP are identical to Demonic Sword Zariche.

Any monster in the world can drop one of the swords. But only one copy of each sword can exist in the world at a time. When a cursed sword drops, the whole world turns red for a few seconds, the ground shakes, and a system message tells all players that a cursed sword has been found.

A player who obtains such a sword immediately turns into a dark warrior. The transformation is the same for female and male characters, but the appearance depends on the type of cursed sword. After the transformation, the player's name is replaced by the name of the sword the character now owns. The sword's name is also shown in chat instead of the character's name. In addition, the sword's owner automatically becomes chaotic, and their HP/CP/MP are fully restored to 100%.

After obtaining a cursed sword, the character automatically equips it and then cannot unequip it, drop it on the ground, give it to another player or destroy it. With the cursed sword you also gain special skills.

An obtained cursed sword disappears after a certain period of time, whether the character is in the game or not. The time you hold the sword decreases when its owner kills another player, but the sword's abilities grow. However, the sword's owner must kill at least one other character a day, otherwise the sword disappears after 24 hours. A system message informs the sword's owner of the remaining holding time and the time of the last kill.

If the owner of a cursed sword dies, the sword immediately disappears or drops to the ground. Having lost the sword, the player returns to their normal appearance, and their skills and stats go back to normal.

Map features

One of the map's purposes is to show the location of the cursed swords. When you open the map (Alt+M), you'll see a drop-down list of cursed swords in the upper left corner. Choose a sword from the list and click the "Search" button. A special icon on the map will show you where the sword's owner currently is, if they are in the game.

Abilities and restrictions

PK penalties, such as experience loss, item drops, karma increase, etc., don't apply to players taking part in PvP with the owner of a cursed sword.

The owner of a cursed sword cannot attack players below level 20. At the same time, players must be level 20 or higher to be able to attack the owner of the cursed sword Zariche or Akamanah. Also, during a siege all players automatically become enemies of the cursed sword's owner.

If the owner of a cursed sword strikes another player (excluding skills and magic), including a Hero, that player's CP immediately drops to zero. But if a Hero strikes the sword's owner (excluding skills and magic), the owner's CP drops to zero too. If the owners of both cursed swords fight each other, their CP also drops to zero.

A player who owns a cursed sword cannot join a party. On getting a cursed sword, the character automatically leaves their party. The sword's owner also can't use the party matching system or the command channel. If Zariche's owner gets Akamanah, Zariche disappears and the level of the Akamanah sword increases by one. The same rules apply in the reverse situation.

The owner of a cursed sword cannot receive buffs from other players and cannot be healed, nor can they heal other players. Even so, they can apply buff skills and heal themselves. The sword's owner can summon pets and servitors but can't ride pets.

Olympiad and Heroes

A player who owns a cursed sword cannot take part in Grand Olympiad.

If a player has Hero status and gets Zariche or Akamanah, the Hero skills cannot be used. The player can use these skills again only after the sword disappears.
