Creating an alliance
If the clan is level 5 or higher, the clan leader can make the corresponding request to NPC, who creates alliances. The alliance name can contain up to 16 letters and digits, without spaces or special characters.
- If a clan is already in an alliance, it can neither create its own alliance nor join another alliance.
- During a siege, an attacking clan can't form an alliance with a defending clan, and vice versa.
- Clans at war with each other can't form a joint alliance.
- An alliance can consist of at most three clans, including the clan that founded it.
Alliance Leader privileges
The alliance leader can add a clan to the alliance. The alliance leader can expel a clan from the alliance. After that, the expelled clan can't join another alliance for the next 24 hours. The alliance that expelled the clan also can't accept a new clan for 24 hours. If a clan leaves the alliance voluntarily, the alliance can take in a new clan at any time.
Disbanding an alliance
The alliance leader can dissolve the alliance without the consent of the clan leaders in it. The alliance leader can't create a new alliance for 10 days after dissolving the previous one. The alliance leader also gets an XP penalty equal to the penalty for one character death. Unlike dissolving a clan, dissolving an alliance happens immediately. All alliance-related functions, such as alliance chat, are lost. Alliance-related actions such as dissolving, leaving and expelling can be done at any time, even during clan or alliance wars. But an alliance can't be dissolved while it's taking part in a siege.
Leaving an alliance
A clan that has left an alliance can't join another alliance for 24 hours.
Alliance functions
Alliance chat
Alliance chat is available only to alliance members. This chat works separately from clan chat. When players are in clan chat, alliance chat isn't shown, and vice versa.
Creating an alliance crest
The alliance leader can create an alliance crest, which the alliance's clans can display in addition to their clan crest using the command /allycrest. The alliance crest is placed before the clan crest. The crest size is limited to 8 pixels wide and 12 pixels high (a 256 color/8-bit BMP file).
Alliance information
An alliance member can see information about the alliance's main clan, their own clan, the names and total number of the alliance's clans and the number of alliance clan members online, using the command /allyinfo.

Alliances during sieges
During a castle siege, certain alliance-related rules apply to a clan:
- A clan in the same alliance as the defending clan can't register for the siege on the attacking side. Likewise, a clan allied with the attacking side can't register for the same siege as a defender.
- When a siege starts, if a character from a clan allied with the defenders isn't registered on the defending side, they'll be removed from the castle.
- If the castle owner changes during a siege (i.e. mid-victory), the new clan that now owns the castle and the clans of its alliance that were originally registered as attackers are automatically registered as defenders. All characters will be removed from the castle.
- You can end your relationship with an alliance even during a siege. If that happens, depending on the situation, the following changes may occur:
- A clan registered as a castle defender that was previously allied with the castle-owning clan becomes an attacking clan.
- If a clan registered as a castle defender leaves an alliance with a clan that doesn't own this castle, it keeps taking part in the siege on the defenders' side regardless of the change in its alliance relationship.
- A clan registered for a castle siege can't be expelled from an alliance. If an alliance has registered for a castle siege, it can't be dissolved.
- If clan A is allied with clan B and isn't registered for a castle siege, while clan B is registered for it, clan A will have the "No Relationship Clan" (unrelated clan) status toward clan B regardless of their alliance relationship. The "No Relationship Clan" status takes priority over alliance status.
