Lineage 2 Throne 1.5: Hellbound, Patch Notes

Characters
The maximum level was increased from 80 to 85. The maximum subclass level stayed the same – 80
New main-class skills
New main-class. skills were added. These new skills are determined by the type of your sub-class. The type of skills you can get is determined by your sub-class and its level
- Subclass lv65: the main class gets a skill that increases attack/defense.
- Subclass lv70: the main class gets a skill that increases attack/defense.
- Subclass lv75: the main class gets a level 2 attack/defense boost skill OR a specific skill depending on the subclass.
- Subclass lv80: the main class gets a transformation skill depending on the subclass.
Even if you decide to delete your subclass, all the skills above won't disappear. The main class can get four skills from each subclass. So if you have three subclasses, the maximum number of unique skills is 12.
Getting these skills
- Switch to your subclass and talk to the master of your specialty to get a certificate for unique skills.
- Take the certificate to NPC Avant-Garde in Ivory Tower to get the skill.
- You can acquire the skill only with your main class. There's no level limit for the main class.
- Special skill certificates can't drop, be destroyed or be sold.
The number of certificates is limited, so be careful how you use them. For example, if you use the first subclass's unique skill certificate at level 65, then after deleting the subclass you won't be able to take that subclass's skill at level 65.
- You need to complete the quest More Than Meets the Eye to get a subclass certificate.
Skills for getting a subclass to lv. 65 and 70
At these two levels you learn general passive skills; you can learn the same skill twice, and the effect stacks. Naturally, you can choose six different skills, giving your character the best "specialization" and uniqueness.
- Physical Defence - Increases p.def (~9)
- Magic Defence - Increases m.def (~15)
- Physical Offence - Increases p.atk (~11)
- Magic Offence - Increases m.atk (~22)

Skills for getting a subclass to lv. 80
- When your subclass reaches level 80, you can learn a transformation skill whose type is determined by your class.
- This skill can be used when you return to main-class.

Normal (normal) transformations
Transformation types (fighters, mages, healers etc.) were added for levels 70-80. Such a transformation matches the features of the class. There are five types of such transformations in total. Three of them have fighter skills, one has healer skills and the last has mage skills. After you get the transformation book, you can get the skill from Avant-Garde in Ivory Tower.
Transformations available in this category:
Each transformation lasts 30 minutes and has special skills (3-4 pcs.)
Note: All transformations have the skill Transform Dispel, which lets you cancel it.
Rare (rare) transformations
These transformations have stronger skills than normal transformations. The books for these transformations can be obtained by hunting raid bosses. These transformations have level restrictions:

A Great Wolf can be exchanged for a Great Snow Wolf, a Fenir for a Snow Fenir-a, and a Strider for a Red Star-a, Red Dusk-a or Red Wind Strider, respectively.
- These pets get unique skills, and their defense and running speed increase. The pets can't be summoned if the clan doesn't own a clan hall, but they can be exchanged for normal pets at the owner's wish. This can be done at NPC Pet Trader Mickey in the towns of Aden and Rune.
- The collars of upgraded pets can't be dropped, deleted or sold.
Servitors - Servitors
- A system was added that lets summoners pass part of their attributes to their pets. This applies only to the classes Elemental Summoner, Warlock and Phantom Summoner.
- If the summoner uses a weapon with attributes, 80% of the attribute's power is automatically passed to the servitor. Only attack attributes can be shared this way, not defense.
- The death penalty (Death Penalty) doesn't apply to servitors (if the summoner gets a penalty, the servitor doesn't).
- When the weapon's properties don't match the servitor's attribute abilities, the attribute's effect isn't passed to the servitor.
Enhancement system
- Pet weapons can be upgraded to weapons for Great and Fennir. status
