Quest walkthrough
- Go to Ketra Orc Shaman (NPC)
, who stands by the stairs near the western exit of Town of Goddard
. Get as many buffs as you can beforehand and take
Greater Healing Potion just in case. All classes except those with Inquisitor (Bishop, Elven Elder) should also take a couple of thousand
Soulshot A-grade. Talk to the NPC and teleport into the instance. - Talk to the NPC Ketra Orc Supporter
at the entrance and receive the spear
Spear of Silenos. Classes with the Inquisitor skill don't need it, but it will be very handy for everyone else. - The goal of the instance is to reach the instant boss Latana (70, Lv. 66) through walls of mobs and kill him. The boss himself is in a dead end in the west of "Varka". On the map, this spot is right under the cross from Demon Fortress.
- So, we are at the entrance of the instance. If you go straight, there is a wall of mobs ahead. Don't rush to chop them up. If you turn left before the entrance, there is a large clearing with antelopes, which drop the very useful Quick Healing Potion, Pailaka and
Pailaka Instant Shield. Damage dealers kill the mobs with the spear. Bishops, Elven Elders and other healers kill in Inquisitor. If you use the spear, you get the skill Critical Up, which raises your critical rate and attack speed. The more critical hits you deal to mobs, the higher the skill level. As soon as it reaches 7, use the 2nd skill, Obliteration Storm, which deals huge damage and stuns nearby mobs. After using it, you need to reapply the first skill (Crit Rate + P Attack Speed) on yourself. - Kill all the antelopes and collect the items. Go back to the wall of goats and kill them (going around is pointless — it teleports you back). If you use Inquisitor, try to shoot from a distance. If you get close to the mobs, another row of goats appears behind them. You don't need to kill those: once you take down the ones in front, the ones behind disappear on their own. Use the instant QHP from time to time to restore health, and the shields to protect against magic. Spear users — don't forget the mass skill. The back row of goats goes down in three hits of it. Swordsingers, besides Song of Hunter, also sing Song of Flame Guard and Song of Warding.
- So, the wall is gone. Pick up the dropped QHP and PIS and move on. A little to the left there is a bridge (with something like black stones at the edges of the entrance), where the 2nd wall of mobs stands. Regenerate, and while your buffs are still fresh, attack the mobs. Pick up the dropped heals and shields. If you need to regenerate during the fight, just run off a certain distance — the mobs won't chase you.
- Next, again head a little to the left. There is a passage with the 3rd wall of mobs. The key point here is how the mobs stand: if they face you, you are going the right way. If their backs are to you, that's the way back. If you die, don't despair: relog (you'll end up in town), resurrect, rebuff and run back into the instance — the mobs you already killed don't respawn. You get quite a lot of time to complete it — 90 minutes.
- After the 3th wall there is a fork. Turn left again. In the passage you will find an NPC who can enchant the spear and give you some buffs (no more than 5 buffs).
- At the next fork, turn right and you immediately run into the last, 4th wall of mobs. Once you kill it, you reach the instant boss.
- The boss has only about 80k HP and dies fairly quickly. He has very nasty magic that deals quite serious damage. You can protect yourself like this: when you see him preparing to cast and rearing up, use a shield on yourself. Don't forget about QHP. either
- You reached the boss but have no shields or heals left? What to do? At the fork before the last wall of mobs, turn right. There is a clearing with a small wall of mobs in front of it. Kill it and go into the clearing. Striped green antelopes roam there, dropping plenty of the heals and shields you need. Kill the antelopes, collect the items and go back to the boss.
- After the boss dies, Ketra Orc Supporter
appears and takes the spear and unused potions from you. As a reward he gives you
Pailaka Shirt (A grade), full Vitality recovery,
2,8 0,00,000 XP and
2 8,50,000 skill points (SP)

Bugs and cheats
With buffs and dances it is very easy. If anyone doesn't know, for that you need to be in a party with a Bladedancer, Swordsinger, Warcryer or Overlord. A Prophet won't work, because a player inside the Pailaka can't be targeted. For the buffs to land, the buffer and the target just need to be close to each other. They won't see each other, of course, but buffs and the rest still land.
