What is Awakening?
Shilen's mighty forces have entered into a struggle with humanity, and when they tried to seize the homeland of the ancient Giants, Ruins of Ye Sagira, the ruins collapsed onto Talking Island Village, and now the inhabitants of Elmoreden will be able to find there the key to ancient powers that will help in the struggle. The secrets of the Giants and the ancient heroes will be preserved. By going through the Awakening, players will awaken within themselves the powers of the ancient heroes.
- The existing 35 classes will Awaken into 8 classes. The first part, before the Awakening, consists of completing 3 class transfers and reaching level 85. After level 85, you'll need to complete a quest in search of the power of the ancient giants in order to Awaken. A character's class after the awakening will depend on their previous class.

Features of the awakened class
- Awakening skills:
- After the Awakening, a character can learn powerful new skills, which require SP, so the skills the character had before will be removed and the character will get SP to learn Awakening skills. Awakening skills mostly correspond to the main class skills before the Awakening, but are more powerful. For example, some skills of each class will help finish a fight in 1-2 hits and will be very useful.
- Racial skills:
- After the Awakening, each character gets unique racial features. Racial skills can be active or passive; they don't need to be learned — the character gets them right after finishing the Awakening quest, Seize Your Destiny.

- You'll be able to choose 1 of your subclasses, for which the level 80 cap is removed, so it can be developed to level 99. To do this you'll need the quest Split Destiny. Switching between the second class and subclasses is done right from the character stats window. After switching, the character gets a temporary effect that lowers their stats, weakens the character and prevents switching to another class/subclass.
- You can't choose as your second class a subclass that becomes identical to your main class on Awakening; e.g. Duelist can't choose the subclasses Grand Khavatari, Dreadnought, Titan, Doombringer to develop as a second class.
