Character improvement

Foreword
At the heart of Lineage 2 lies PvP, combat between players. Battles end differently, and when a player loses to another, he starts to wonder what he did wrong. Maybe the player finds the reason, maybe not. It may be that he doesn't know about one or another nuance of the game, which leads to his defeat. Let's go over all the "nuances" and see which character is the best prepared for PvP.
1. Subclass skills
Subclass skills are skills that add to the character's stats or to skills.
How do they work?
- Depending on the type, they give a static stat bonus or, with a certain chance, trigger like a buff when taking/dealing damage.
How do you get them?
- You must complete the quest More Than Meets the Eye, otherwise you cannot learn the skills.
- You need a special book to learn the skill from the NPC.
- You must be on your subclass to get the skill book from the NPC.
- You must be on your main class to learn the skill.
- Depending on the subclass level, the skill gets "certified".
- Once the skill is "certified", the main class needs to get the Tome of "only skill".
- You can get this Tome in Ivory Tower from NPC Avant-Garde.
- The main class can learn this skill regardless of its level.
- Once the subclass "certifies" payment for Tome of transformation, it cannot be dropped/sold/traded.

2. PvP - insertion
PvP Items: an article about PvP items. More details:
- PvP insertion: enhancing armor and weapons to gain extra advantages in PvP
- PvP insertion is done into an item you already have. The PvP property can be inserted into Upper Armor (Tunic, Breastplate, etc.) and into weapons. The weapon must be grade A or higher. The weapon must have an SA; after insertion it can be enchanted, augmented and have its augmentation removed, but you can't add an attribute; the same goes for armor. You can wear two PvP items at once: PvP armor and a PvP weapon
- you can do the PvP insertion by talking to Rapidus in Aden
- you need Reputation Points, Adena and the item into which you add the PvP property.
- you can earn reputation points by being in PvP zones (fortress sieges, castle sieges, territory wars).
- with PvP insertion, the armor/weapon gets two passive properties: reduced damage received in PvP if the PvP insertion is in armor, increased damage dealt in PvP if the PvP insertion is in a weapon, and a specific skill. More details: PvP Items
