Cloaks

• Cloaks can be worn with Dynasty armor and armor of S80 grade and higher.
• They increase the character's P. Def.; some cloaks increase elemental defense and other stats.
• A cloak can be obtained in various ways.

Cloak usage conditions

• To use a cloak, the character must wear an S80 or higher armor set, or a Dynasty set S.
• When the armor set is worn, the cloak slot becomes active.
• To wear the Lord's Knight Cloak, the character must also be a member of a castle-owning clan.
• Cloaks cannot be enhanced, upgraded or given elemental defense.

Cloaks of Light and Darkness

• The Tauti update added Cloaks of Light and Darkness, which can be worn by the leader and members of a castle-owning clan.

• The Awakening update added eight new classes and the Awakening system to the game. A unique Class Cloak was prepared for each class.

Hero cloaks

Main article — Hero's Cloaks

• The Tauti update added new rewards for participants and winners of the Grand Olympiad - Hero's Cloaks
• Unlike other cloaks, besides P. Def. these cloaks also increase M. Def., maximum HP and CP, but they don't give attribute defense.
• The player who takes first place in their class receives Hero's Cloak
• Those who take second and third place receive Glorious Cloak.

Raid Boss Cloaks

Main article — Cloaks Raid Bosses

• The High Five update added 6 cloaks. All of them are linked to certain Raid Bosses.
• Cloaks obtained from quests and cloaks obtained as drops look the same but differ in their defense against certain attributes.
• The new cloaks protect to varying degrees against all 6 attribute types.

Clan cloak

• The Glory Days update added new cloaks for clan members.

• These cloaks can be bought with rewards from Clan Orders, or for Adena in clan halls.

Setting the clan crest

• The clan crest can be applied not only to the clan flag but also to the cloak. To set it, press Alt+N and choose the Register Crest button.
• Crest size: 256x256, 32-bit BMP/TGA file.
• The crest can be changed no sooner than 15 minutes later.

Festival's Cloak - Pearl White	Vitamin item A cloak distinguished by the beauty of pure white. The sealed cloak slot opens, and the cloak can be worn, after putting on a full set of Dynasty armor or higher. Can be exchanged between characters on the same account via the Vitamin Manager. Can be put into the private warehouse.
Festival's Cloak - Blood Red	A souvenir for the 7 anniversary of Lineage II. A cloak for the true heroes of the era whose story began with the beginning of Lineage II. The sealed cloak slot opens, and the cloak can be worn, after putting on a full set of Dynasty armor or higher. Cannot be enchanted, given attributes, traded, dropped or destroyed, but can be shared between characters on the account via the Vitamin Manager or put into the private warehouse.
Festival's Cloak - Pitch Black	Vitamin item A cloak that gives the feeling of pitch-black darkness. The cloak slot opens, and the cloak can be worn, after putting on a full set of S80-grade armor or higher. Cannot be traded / dropped / sold in a private store. Can be exchanged between characters on the same account via the Vitamin Manager. Can be put into the private warehouse.

Russian Decorative Cloak

• Given to characters in honor of the 4 anniversary of Lineage II in Russia.
• Only for RU servers.
