The Return of the Elpy Invasion
These lovely little creatures have been shunned by players, since they live in Aden's low-level zones where experienced players have nothing to do. 2 weeks ago some elpies rose in revolt, and players had to destroy them. It's time for the elpies to rise again. The GM event "Elpies from the Past" will take you back to the locations you visited in your character's first days, places that will fill you with nostalgia. On top of that, great new items will drop from the elpies. Jack Sage, responsible for The Gift of Vitality, is working with the NCSoft West team to celebrate the elpies and reward players for returning to their roots.
How the event works
The GM event "Elpies from the Past" lasts 1 week c 14 until June 20, 2010. Each day the event starts with an in-game announcement at the announced time (see below) saying that elpies have gathered in a certain place. Players must fly there, find and kill as many elpies as possible (don't worry, the elpies are ready to sacrifice themselves and reward the player for the effort). The event lasts an hour, then continues the next day at a different time with different rewards.
The event schedule takes the servers' prime time into account. But if you play on a server outside your region, don't worry — you can take part on the weekend. Especially since the drop gets better every day.
On these days the GMs (Sace, Moxie, Cryo, Cabel and others) will be busy and you won't see them.
Drop improvement
On each of the 7 event days the drop will be different, including the amount of drop received. See the event schedule. You'll get a drop from every elpy you kill.

The times below are approximate. The event may start within 20 minutes of the time given below, because the GMs can only start the event on 1 server at a time.
