Eva's Story

The temperature in the Kingdom of Aden has risen to an unbearable level. Gran Kain, the god of destruction, has released fire spirits all over the land. The goddess Eva calls on all the world's residents to help her fight the heat.

Also called to help is Jack Sage, the high priest of Eva's temple, who will hire adventurers bold enough to stop the fire spirits' advance. The goddess Eva will bless the whole world if enough helpers are found to cool Aden down.

General information

Collect Seed of Fire while hunting monsters to take part in the event. There are two types of seeds; double-clicking them summons a Fire Spirit. This Fire Spirit can only be defeated with bare hands, so take off any weapon before attacking.

As soon as you summon a spirit, a buff is applied to you that "ignites" your fists and helps you defeat the Fire Spirit. Defeated spirits drop lots of useful things. If you don't manage to kill the Fire Spirit, it soon disappears.

Killing one Fire Spirit isn't enough to save Aden from the heat. When the event starts, every player gets a panel with the event's current status. Every defeated fire spirit is stored inside Eva's Obelisk, which keeps count of the Fire Spirits killed. As soon as enough fire spirits have been killed, the goddess Eva will give the world a blessing that increases experience. As the event goes on, the strength of this blessing will grow with each stage. At stages 6, 10 and 14, players can visit Jack Sage for bonus rewards.

Extra rewards

Many extra rewards can be obtained by killing Spirits, and also by talking to Jack Sage at certain stages of this event. List of extra rewards:

Event runes and Eva's Crown are temporary items: the crown is given for three days, the experience rune for three to five hours, and Eva's rune for five hours to three days.

Eva's Blessing

A special panel lets players know how many fire spirits have been killed on the server that day. When enough Spirits have been killed, the whole server gets a blessing — an extra experience bonus. The blessing lasts for some time, and any player hunting mobs will get an extra experience bonus for killing them. As the event goes on, the strength of this blessing will grow.

Special rewards on days 6, 10 and 14

On day 6, 10 and 14, instead of Eva's world blessing, players can get extra rewards from Jack Sage. These rewards are only available to players on servers where enough Fire Spirits have been killed. On days 6 and 10, players have 5 hours to look for Jack Sage, and on day 14, 8 hours.

All other rewards can't be traded. Also note that once Eva's box is opened it becomes bound to you and can't be traded either. The countdown for temporary items starts right after they're opened (received) and doesn't depend on whether the player is online.

On September 8 Jack Sage, all Seed of Fire and Explosive Seeds of Fire will be deleted. All other items will remain after the event ends.
