...Long ago, before history began, the exiled emperor Shunaiman, a worshipper of sirens, ruled. He was exiled even before the rise of the civilization of giants that was later destroyed. The continent of Gracia that exists today is only a remnant of the once beautiful lands of a flourishing empire. The continent sank into darkness and was forgotten, seemingly forever, because of the widespread use of dark magic on it. The dark magic spread first to the ocean and then to the continent of Elmoreden, to the kingdom of Aden. It took long years of ceaseless prayer to dispel the darkness with light and to place the source of evil in a space now known as Kamaloka. All this time only Kamaloka served as a reminder of the once majestic lands. Still, over time the darkness lifted over the continent of Gracia itself too. In the end, the surviving enemy kingdom of Gracia sent envoys to the lands of Elmoreden begging for help. And so the weary people at last received long-awaited help from the most successful houses of the two kingdoms across the ocean...
