Seed of Hellfire The Lineage 2 Chapter 2 - Tauti update added a new hunting zone, the fourth seed, located in Gracia.

Background

Shilen, the Goddess of Destruction, is extending her influence over the continent of Gracia by spreading the Seeds that dot it. On her orders, and to expand her military might, Tauti founded the Seed of Hellfire, a top-level hunting zone on the continent of Gracia, where he brought the Zahaks, Kundas and Zofans as his henchmen. Although Tauti is busy carrying out Shilen's orders, he also never misses a chance to increase his own power.

How to get to the Seed of Hellfire

Seed of Hellfire is an industrial zone. You can get there by airship or via the controller on Keucereus Alliance Base. Only characters of level 97+ are allowed into Seed of Hellfire.

Layout of the Seed of Hellfire

The Seed consists of four floors; the first two are divided into northern and southern parts. Note that the northern part of each floor has a large concentration of monsters, for more convenient party hunting, while the southern part of each floor has fewer monsters, allowing solo or small-party hunting. So regardless of your party's makeup, you can find a place to hunt. The higher the floor, the harder it is to hunt there and the better the monsters and machines get, but there is evidence that a civil war is brewing between the workers and the soldiers.

Floor 1: Sewers

The first floor is home to the Zofans, workers and minions of Tauti. They live in the waste and garbage dumped from the upper floors of Seed of Hellfire. The floor consists of three rooms, with a river of sewage running through the central room. The entrance is at the southern end of this floor. Some quest NPC are located here, such as Fergason and Sizrak and Sizrak's Comrade Transportation Assistant. The quest NPC Aku is at the southern end of the floor. You can go up to the next floor by the small ramps in the side rooms or via Sizrak's Comrade Transportation Assistant in the central room.

Floor 2: Factory District

The second floor houses a factory with furnaces and machines, where Zofans and Kundas toil away to make weapons for the army of Tauti. High walls divide the area into three rooms, like the first floor. This floor of Seed of Hellfire is also a Quest Zone, meaning zone events with special rewards start running if you enter this floor as a party of players.

• The first and second floors are the only ones accessible without special requirements.
• The third and fourth floors of Seed of Hellfire are reserved for the Tauti raid.

Floor 3: Kunda Training Hall

The third floor is home to the soldiers of the army of Tauti, where they rest, train and worship Tauti. Kundas are at the start of the floor and on the stairs beyond, and Zahaks worship Tauti in the temple at the back, which gives access to the fourth floor. The Kunda zone is responsible for the physical attack and physical defense of Tauti himself. The great wall is decorated with a mural depicting the axe Tauti.

Floor 4: Temple of Tauti

The top floor of Seed of Hellfire is home to Tauti. In the center of this polygonal room, the axe Tauti hangs in the air. This is where the bravest adventurers can prepare and challenge Tauti.

Features of the Seed of Hellfire

The zone is set up for hunting groups of monsters in the northern part of floors 1-2 and single monsters in the southern part. If Tauti (normal, extreme) is successfully defeated more than the set number of times, the zone's state changes from normal to Captured by Players. Once the state of Seed of Hellfire changes to stage 2, Captured by Players, you can travel via Sizrak's Comrade Transportation Assistant to floor 3, the Kunda Training Hall. In the Kunda Training Hall on floor 3, you can collect attribute crystal shards with a special agathion.

Local quest

The local quest in Seed of Hellfire is available only on the second floor and starts automatically as soon as the party moves there.

• The quest lasts 60 minutes; during that time you need to score 10.000 points to get the reward.
• To earn local quest points, you need to destroy the machines in the rooms of the second floor of Seed of Hellfire: Smelting Furnace, Cooling Device, Weapon Molding Device, Armor Molding Device.
• You can also earn local quest points by destroying the monsters Koja the Engineer, Borok the Engineer, Adac the Engineer. Killing Engineering Managers gives more local quest points.
• On reaching 10.000 points in the local quest, the quest ends immediately and the reward window appears.
  • The quest reward depends on the player's contribution to achieving the local quest's goals.
  • Whoever contributed the most gets Engineer Zofan’s Supply Box; everyone else gets Zofan’s Supply Box.
  • Both chests can give Ore and six types of attribute Crystals; Engineer Zofan’s Supply Box can additionally give R.-grade weapon/armor modification scrolls

Tauti's instance zone

Tauti rules the Seed of Hellfire. He's a golem partly made of a huge axe. The axe was created by Bremnon, which makes Tauti the brother of the Demonic Sword Zariche. Tauti and his minions extend their abilities through mechanical innovations.
