It's the time when the leaves change color (no idea how it is over there in the States, but here it's already snowing in places), people head to the shops for costumes and pumpkins (and here buckwheat has gone up in price). This Halloween the GMs will grab the Elpies by the ears to bring fun and lots of gifts into your home. Don't worry, the gifts aren't the kind that rot your teeth, but rather hard-earned ones: they'll be valuable and sought-after items for your character.

If you go hunting during the event, an elpy may appear next to you (those who get them popping up regularly anyway, please be extra careful ^^). If you say "Trick or Treat" to this elpy, it'll invite you to play in a special GM room (dear botters: "hands up!"). Once you're in that room, you'll be forcibly and without any investigation transformed into a Werewolf. While transformed, try to maul as many rabbits as you can and gut their carcasses for goodies. As soon as this wonderful and unforgettable time runs out, you'll turn back into a pumpkin... oops, wrong story. Anyway, you'll be teleported back with your pockets full of Icarus weapons and revita-pops.

Schedule

The Trick or Treat event takes place on October 26, 27 and 28, from 20.00 (GMT+3) [9 a.m. Pacific Time] to 5.00 (GMT+3) [6 p.m. Pacific Time], on both servers at the same time. Each event day there will be an announcement (announcements) about when the whole thing starts and ends.


How does this event work?

  1. Go level up as if nothing were happening.
  2. As soon as you see a rabbit face, immediately (you have 20 sec) shout Trick or Treat. in the general chat or shout chat
  3. If you said it in time, you'll be teleported to the GM room.
  4. Use the Warehouse Keeper in the GM room to free up as much inventory as possible; you'll have to collect a lot of loot.
  5. As soon as you confirm you're ready to grab some loot, the GM will transform you into a werewolf-like creature. While transformed, you can only attack using the transformation's special skill.
  6. Then you'll be teleported to the next room, full of loot-stuffed Elpies.
  7. You have 2 minutes to tear apart as many Elpies as you can and collect the loot.
  8. Once time is up, you'll be taken back to the GM and the Warehouse Keeper so you can sort out your inventory. Then you can move back to your leveling spot or to town if you like.
  9. You'll stay transformed even after the game ends. You can have fun however you like until the transformation runs out, or cancel it manually.

Halloween gift - Jack O'Lantern

But that's not all the fun waiting for players. Everyone will get their own personal piece of Halloween. After the server restart on October 26, look in your private warehouse. There you'll find, if not gold and diamonds, a nice gift all the same – a box labelled eat me Golden Jack O'Lantern Mask 7 Day Pack. Inside you'll find the Jack O'Lantern mask itself, with a seven-day shelf life that starts ticking as soon as you unpack the gift. Note that an unopened box won't last long either – they'll be deleted during the restart on November 9.

When you put on the mask, a smiling bright-orange pumpkin takes the place of your head. Besides a charming smile, the wearer gets the following perks: Increase max HP 40%, max MP40%, max CP 40%, Physical Def. 30%, Magic Def. 30%, Spd. 30% of party members for 10 minutes. Cooldown – 1 hour.
