Talk to High PriestMaximilian in the Einhasad Temple of the town of Town of Giran. Trader Gentler needs help. It's probably worth going to see him yourself to find out what the problem is
Talk to Magic TraderGentler, who is in the south of Town of Giran in Magic Shop. He recently lost contact with Miki the Cat from Devil's Isle, and asks you to give him Map and get some herbs in return.
The fastest way to get to Devil's Isle is to teleport from Giran to Devil's Island.
If you're in the mood to travel and explore, teleport to Giran Harbor, then follow the road north-west across the bridge. After a while the road turns south and leads you to the docks and the entrance to Pirate Tunnel. You'll need to swim through Pirate Tunnel underwater for a long time, so stock up on a buff or the potion Bless of Eva, or at worst heals and potions. Also be ready to meet aggressive monsters. Once past Pirate Tunnel, you'll see a treasure cove to your left and a waterfall to your right. Go through the waterfall to the other side of the treasure cove. Entering a large cave with a huge wrecked ship, keep to your left and look for Miki the Cat here.
Talk to Miki the Cat. He says he found the herbs but lost them, because the pouch they were in tore. He'll ask you to find 20 Medicinal Herb. Go to Alligator Island and kill Alligator (lv. 34) until you've collected the required number of herbs
Return to Town of Giran and talk to Gentler.
Gentler will tell you he now needs 500 Spirit Ore to finish his work. When you have them, talk to Gentler again; he'll tell you that you can collect your reward from Miki the Cat.
Talk to Miki the Cat in Devil's Isle. The cat will just spread his paws in surprise and say he never agreed to anything with Gentler, so you'll have to shake your reward out of the swindler himself.
Now Gentler won't wriggle out of it... Go back to that scoundrel and grab him by the... well, make him understand he has no choice and will have to pay up. It turns out he has almost nothing to offer you... but if you bring him 1000 Thread and 500 Suede, he'll make you a head accessory. Return to him when you've collected the required resources. He'll offer you a choice of one of three head accessories: Cat Ear, Raccoon Ears or Rabbit Ears.
