Monsters

Blazing Swamp — the Blazing Swamp. The Blazing Swamp lies north of Aden. It's an infernal sea of fire covered with molten rock, though from the outside it looks practically no different from any other swamp. But Paagrio wreaked havoc there, and its inhabitants are rather peculiar. All of them are masters of fire magic. King Raoul ordered a ditch dug along the edge of the swamp so the fire wouldn't spread to neighboring lands.

They say there was once a beautiful garden here, planted by Elf as a sign of friendship with the human race. The most beautiful thing of all was the huge tree growing in the middle. This tree was a relative of the Mother Tree of Elven Village. But after Paagrio unleashed his might here during the war, the once beautiful trees turned into smoldering stumps which, they say, came to life and still wander the scorched valley, while the burning hulk of the huge Tree still smokes in the middle of the valley.
