Quest walkthrough
- Talk to Marquez
in Primeval Isle
.
- Talk to Asamah , who is in the lower left part of the island. You can only get there through the teleport at Orahochin in the same part of the island.
- The Elroki tribe doesn't seem to trust you, so you should return to Marquez. To win the trust of the Elroki tribe, you must learn their traditional song. One researcher has already tried to do this, but unfortunately he was eaten by Velociraptors. You'll have to kill a lot of critters to find all the pages.
- Go to Lost Nest and kill Velociraptor (lv. 78, 98) until you collect
50 Diary Fragment. - Once you've collected all the diary pieces, return to Marquez, who can glue them together and read them to you. While reading, he'll find a letter Expedition Member's Letter addressed to a certain person named Kirikachin, who supported the Elroki tribe. Without a second thought, he'll ask you to find him and show him this letter.
- Kirikachin is very upset to hear the news of his friend's death, and to honor him he sings a song. You'll actually hear it if the game sound is on.
- After he finishes singing, talk to him again, and he'll teach you the song he sang. Return to Asamah.
- Asamah greets you unkindly, since only by singing him the Song can you prove your worth. He's surprised that you know it, and in the end agrees to teach you the technique of luring monsters into traps. But first you must collect some materials for the trap.
- Go to Primeval Plains and hunt monsters until you've collected the required number of items:
- Ornithomimus (78, Lv. 98) -
10 Ornithomimus Claw (1)
- Deinonychus (78, Lv. 98) - 10 Deinonychus Bone
- Pachycephalosaurus (78, Lv. 98) - 10 Pachycephalosaurus Skin
- Ornithomimus (78, Lv. 98) -
- Once you've collected the required materials, return to Asamah. He'll build you a sample trap Practice Elrokian Trap, on which you can practice under the supervision of Kirikachin. So you need to go back to him.
- Kirikachin will show you how to use the trap and tell you that only Tyrannosaurus (lv. 78, 98) can be caught in it. Also, if for some reason you lose the trap, Asamah will sell you another.
