The old Primeval Isle explorer Marquez has received a letter from his friend, the Elroki chief Mushika. The chief asks Marquez to send him a brave young adventurer who can search the island for a cure for his mysterious illness.

    • The Humans and the Elrokians are currently hostile towards each other. Nevertheless, at the Primeval Isle's wharf, the old explorer Marquez asks you to help the Elroki tribe.

    • Marquez is an old friend of Elroki Chief Mushika, who lives on the Primeval Plains. Marquez tells you that Mushika is deathly ill and needs the help of an adventurer to find the cure. Travel inland to meet with Asamah, the chief's son, in order to learn the details.

    • It was hard to talk to the Elrokian Chief because he seemed ill. Talk to the Chief's son Asamah instead.
  4. The Location of the Mysterious Medicine

  5. Mantarasa Egg

    • The Elroki shaman Karakawei says that in order to cure Mushika's illness, you must find the Mantarasa Egg, which is located somewhere on the Primeval Isle.

Quest walkthrough

  1. Talk to Marquez near the port in Primeval Isle . He'll tell you about the Elroki tribe and ask you to help find a cure for their chief and his friend Mushika, who is mortally ill.
  2. You need to get to the other side of the island to meet Orahochin , who can teleport you to their village.
    • The safest way is to move under the invisibility dance Dance of Shadows from a BD or Silent Move from daggers, because all the mobs on the island are aggressive and social. Beware of running near Tyrannosaurus and Pterosaur, since these mobs can see invisible players.
  3. When you reach the village, talk to Mushika , but it turns out he's too ill to speak coherently. Try talking to his son Asamah , who stands nearby.
  4. Asamah will tell you about various people of the tribe and that his father's illness can be cured by a wonderful medicine prepared by the tribe's shaman Karakawei.
  5. Find Karakawei next to the hut. He can help you cure the elder, but for that you need to bring him Etc lesser potion green i00 0 Dinosaur Egg.
  6. The egg will be a bit hard to find, as it's hidden in the foliage. Still, find it by following the pointers on the map.
    • It's best to get there under a BD dance or a dagger skill, but again, beware of running near Tyrannosaurus and Pterosaur.
  7. Return with the egg to Asamah, get your reward and access to the next quest, The Name of Evil - 1.
