Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force asks you to find a researcher who went missing while he was exploring for relics of an ancient empire that lay hidden in the Swamp of Screams.

  1. Search for Researcher Krorin!
    • Target: The place where Researcher Krorin disappeared.
    • Find the whereabouts of Researcher Krorin, who disappeared while investigating the Swamp of Screams. Also recover Krorin's research journal containing information about the monument of the ancients that Krorin uncovered through his investigation.
  2. Return to Abercrombie
    • Target: Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie
    • Take the research journal you recovered from Researcher Krorin and take it to Abercrombie who is in the Barracks of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force.
  3. Forgotten Monument
    • Target: Forgotten Monument
    • Continue Krorin's investigation of the ancient stone tablet. From his journal, you've found the first monument. Now, find the second one.
  4. Find the second monument!
    • Target: Forgotten Monument
    • Go to the location indicated by the diagram engraved on the surface of the stone tablet to find the second monument.
  5. Find the third monument!
    • Target: Forgotten Monument
    • Go to the location indicated by the geometrical figures engraved on the surface of the stone tablet to find the third monument.
  6. Find the fourth monument!
    • Target: Forgotten Monument
    • By analyzing the map engraved on the surface of the stone tablet, you know where the next monument is located. Go there and find it.
  7. Return to Abercrombie
    • Target: Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie
    • Return to Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie in the barracks of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force and let him know about the four monuments.

Quest walkthrough

  1. The quest is given by the little dwarf Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie in the mercenary camp in the swamp Swamp of Screams . He asks you to find his comrade, a researcher who went missing somewhere in the middle of the swamp.
  2. Head to the center following the pointer and find the body of the unfortunate researcher, Corpse of Dwarf , in a pool of toxic water. Examine it and get Etc jewel red i00 0 Krorin's Journal.
  3. Return to Abercrombie and tell him of his friend's sad fate. The dwarf asks you to continue his untimely departed comrade's research and sends you to find the sunken remains of Forgotten Monument somewhere in the depths of the swamps.
  4. They're easy to find by following the pointers on the map. Each monument gives a hint about where the next one is. Each monument stands inside toxic "lakes", where the local Cicadas take refuge. It's quite hard to get there alone: as soon as you cross the lake's edge, 3 guards appear and attack you. Plus the poisonous water poisons you and causes other harm. One of the monuments is almost entirely under water (the southern one), so it's easiest to find the monuments by typing /target Forgotten Monument in the area marked on the map. You'll need to visit the monuments in this order:
  5. After visiting the fourth monument, you'll see the picture become quite clear, and you'll understand what it means.
  6. Return to Abercrombie and report the results of the research. The dwarf will be very pleased and reward you a little.
