Berserker (Gracia Final) guide — Berserker
Berserker class guide for Lineage 2 Gracia Final: how to get the class, which skills to take, what to wear and where to level.
Contents |
1. Introduction
- Berserk (berserker) — a warrior devoted to the god Odin who worked himself into a frenzy before battle. In combat he stood out for great strength, quick reactions, insensitivity to pain and madness. Berserkers scorned shields and mail, fighting in plain shirts or stripped to the waist.
2. Skills
- Melee attack skills
A fairly strong blow, 2 times weaker than Crushing Pain, but its reuse is quite fast. It doesn't cost much MP, so you can use it constantly to finish off mobs.
- Reuse: 3 seconds
- Power: 3653
- Enchant: Dark. PvP. MP consumption.
- Usefulness. One of the main PvP skills. Since I recommend leveling on mob packs, it's practically useless there. In solo leveling on single mobs it's a must.
-
- Crushing Pain (leveled from lv. 60). Our main skill. It deals very heavy damage. Its only drawback is the long cast.
- Power: 7635.
- Reuse: 6 seconds.
- Enchant: Earth. Power. PvP. Reduced MP.
-
- Usefulness. The main striking power in both PvP and PvE.
A blow comparable to Crushing Pain; unfortunately, to use it the target must have a bleed effect on it. So to use it you must have the skill
- Power: 7635.
- Reuse: 6 seconds.
- Enchant: Earth. Power. PvP. Reduced MP.
- Usefulness. The main striking power in both PvP and PvE.
Another PvP skill, leveled after class transfer 3. But a very interesting one, since it attacks all enemies in front within a 45-degree arc.
- Power: 6060.
- Reuse: 6 seconds.
- Enchantable: ?
This skill really feeds the berserker. It's what lets us solo mob packs up to level 61. It attacks all enemies around you within a distance of 200. I advise leveling it to 62; beyond that it's hardly needed, so save your SP
- Power: 2740
- Reuse: 3 seconds
- Enchant: Earth. PvP. MP consumption.
- Usefulness. When leveling on mob packs, it's our most important skill. In PvP you can use it for extra damage to the opponent. In mass PvP I consider it useless, since the damage is low
In Gracia Final it damages all enemies around you. I advise leveling it to 62; beyond that it's hardly needed, so save your SP
- Reuse: 3 seconds.
- Usefulness. When leveling on mob packs, it's our secondary skill. Not usable in PvP, since it eats a lot and does little.
- Rushes
-
- Shoulder Charge (learned from lv. 40). With this skill you rush at the enemy at insane speed. Then there are 2 outcomes: either the target is stunned or nothing special happens. The damage is very small. The stun chance increases as the skill levels up.
- Reuse: 3 seconds.
- Enchant: Success rate. MP consumption. Earth.
- Usefulness. For many, it's one of the main PvE and PvP skills. A common tactic: stun, do a combo, run off, stun again. When leveling on mobs, I personally don't recommend using it: on mob packs there's no one to stun, and in solo leveling the mobs die from one skill.
-
-
- Storm Assault You fly at the enemy at insane speed. In flight you hit all enemies nearby. The most important thing about this skill is that it has NO REUSE. So on single mobs, if there aren't many people around, you can gather truly huge trains.
- Power: 2192.
- Reuse: None.
- Enchant: Reduced MP. Earth. PvP. Power.
- Usefulness. Some people use it when leveling on mob packs. Personally I think it's a waste of MP. On single mobs I really like quickly gathering 3-4 mobs. In PvP it's sometimes better to start with it, as it deals decent damage. It also looks good in mass PvP, provided you control things very quickly.
-
-
- Blade Rush With it you rush at the enemy. Anyone in your path may get a bleed. The skill itself is rather dull. But when the bleed lands, we can use the skill
- Contagion. So these 2 skills should be used together.
- Power. Not specified.
- Reuse: 3 seconds.
- Enchant: Success rate. Reduced MP. Power.
-
- Rush Impact (leveled at lv. 78) A very important skill, since it fully replaces both
and
at once, while having an AoE effect and decent attack power.
- Power. 4040
- Reuse: ?
- Enchantable: ?
- Self-buffs\Auras
-
- Life to Soul Using the skill takes a noticeable chunk of HP and gives souls. The number of souls depends on the skill's level. Maximum 5 souls
- Usefulness. Collecting souls in town without any effort.
-
-
- Courage Raises resistance to mental attacks. But not to 100%. Lasts 1 minute. During that time, skills like Sleep and Root have a hard time landing on you.
- Reuse: 3 minutes 45 seconds.
- Usefulness. Use it at the start of a fight with a mage. In PvP, 1 minutes should be enough to kill the enemy.
-
-
- Reuse. 15 minutes.
- Enchant. Reduced reuse time.
- Usefulness. In a one-off PvP, consider it your ace in the hole.
-
- Sword Shield Greatly increases physical defense: "lv. 1 +1600 def", "lv. 2 +3200 def". Lasts 30 seconds. During that time your speed drops sharply. Long reuse.
- Reuse: 15 minutes.
- Usefulness. Thanks to this skill we easily kill all opponents in light armor. A must in PvP.
-
-
- Blood PactFor 2 minute, this skill increases the HP of you and everyone in your party by 10%. It also slightly increases HP regen, also for 2 minutes.
- Reuse: 1 minute 15 seconds.
- Usefulness. Useful, since we're rather frail and extra HP won't hurt...
-
-
- Furious Soul. Raises power and critical rate, but lowers our evasion and defense. Lasts 1 minute; reuse is about 2 minutes.
- Reuse: 1 minute 15 seconds.
- Usefulness. Because of the big drop in defense, the skill is very dangerous to use if you're leveling solo. On RBs, use it to your heart's content. In PvP I strongly advise against it. You can use it in a party.
-
-
- Reuse: 45 seconds.
- Usefulness. Use it at the start of a fight with archers and mages. Ten seconds is quite enough to reach the mage or archer.
-
- Soul Cleanse.A very useful skill. It removes up to 3 debuffs from you or a Kamael party member. It removes effects like bleed and hold. Unfortunately, it only works on the Kamael race.
- Reuse. 15 seconds.
-
-
- Dark Armor When on, raises your resistance to dark attacks. It doesn't use MP, so you can keep it on all the time.
- Usefulness. If you remember, turn it on; if you forget, no big deal ))
-
-
- Strike BackGives a chance that the opponent's physical skills are reflected back at them. Constantly consumes MP while on.
- Usefulness. A must against all kinds of melee.
-
-
- Usefulness. Turn it on when you need to run away or, on the contrary, catch an opponent.
-
- Berserker Spirit. This skill constantly consumes MP (mana). When on, it increases P. Atk., attack speed and accuracy, but lowers your defense and evasion.
- Reuse: Toggled on and eats mana. 3 MP every 5 seconds.
- Enchant: For power. For reduced MP consumption.
- Usefulness. Looks nice on RBs (Raid Bosses). I don't recommend it while leveling, since your MP runs out very quickly and as a result you'll be forced to sit and rest. In PvP, if you don't like the run-away tactic and want to fight up close, turn it on.
-
- Debuffs
-
- Disarm This skill will save your life in PvP more than once. It gives a chance that the opponent's weapon drops into their inventory for a few seconds. It doesn't land easily. The reuse is fairly fast, so use it all the time. I especially enjoy watching a disarmed Tyrant.
- Chance: For me, 50%. Hard to say exactly.
- Enchant: For chance. For reduced MP.
- Usefulness. A core PvP skill. Not needed when leveling on mobs.
-
- Violent Temper.A core PvP skill. It lowers the opponent's physical defense. Besides defense, it lowers casting speed. It lands fairly often.
- Reuse: 1 second.
- Enchant: Chance. MP consumption.
- Usefulness. A core skill in PvP. In PvE you can use it on x2 mobs. When it lands, the x2 mob becomes an x1)) This skill is also very handy for pulling mobs onto yourself, which cuts down on running around and so increases your XP per hour.
3. Weapons/Armor
Spoiler:
- let me remind you that we wield TWO-HANDED swords.
And not just any, but ancient ones. To turn a regular two-handed sword into an Ancient Weapon, we need to use our skill
D-grade
price in Giran 81,975
C-grade
price in Giran 349,250
since up to 74+ we level only with skills, defense is what matters most for us!
B-grade
turn it into an ancient sword and insert the HP SA; the price in Giran (shop) is 10-12kk plain and 14-15kk with SA
or keep running with the same C-grade one; it costs about 5-6kk in the shop
A-grade
I don't advise buying a weapon for this grade, since Great Sword is quite enough for leveling, but in principle you can insert an LS.
the best PvP set against stunning opponents, since we have very little CON, so it doesn't get any better
S-grade
the price depends on the server, but it's better to either drop it from an RB or craft it (which is more profitable and sometimes faster). Also collect Attribute stones to insert into the HD and get HD +150 attribute, which gives a huge damage boost, provided your skills are enchanted for the same attribute.
collect it no matter what, since you can insert attribute stones, which gives a hefty boost to defense.
Tattoo
- We don't need tattoos until level 62. After that, in my opinion, there's only one option
- -4 STR +4 CON
- -1 STR +1 CON
- -4 STR +4 DEX
Hunting (PvE)
- 1-20
- I won't describe all the quests from the Newbie Helper
- 20-28
- Go do the Path of Destiny quest, and here we are at level 21. Also do Dangerous Seduction, which gives another +20% and 100k
- Go to Gludio and, with 2 people, clear the Hall of the Abyss level 23 (Kamaloka)
- Register for the catacombs. Go level in the Necropolis of Sacrifice (below Gludin).
- 28-40
- I chose the Partisan Hideaway: mobs are x2 and herbs drop.
- You can go to the Catacomb of the Heretic (near Dion)
- Start the quests for class transfer 2, and also do these quests: **Temple Missionary, Temple Executor, Temple Champion — 1, Temple Champion — 2, **Shadow Fox — 1, Shadow Fox — 2, Shadow Fox — 3, Fallen Angel — **Request of Dusk.
- 40-46
- The ideal place for us is Alligator Island, or you can go to Cruma Tower.
- 46-52
- Here leveling on mob packs begins, and the best place at this level is Tanor Canyon. **First on Harpies until 49, then on Silenos until 52.
- 52-62
- Here the most ideal place for us is below Oren. Go out the main gate and slide straight down the mountain. Once down, we find lots of small packs. You can level here until about 55~
- 61-76
- There are many places to level here. I chose the Goddard outskirts. Right from the central exit there are two hills in front of us. Go left or right. Kill Antelopes and Wolves. Note that as soon as wolves are down to half HP, they start casting STUN.
- As soon as you feel strong enough, start climbing higher and level the same way on Bears and Buffalo. They cast Stun just like the Wolves.
- 66-75
- A great place is the Swamp of Screams, paired with 1 more berserker.
- 76+
Here it's either clan or Parnassus. The choice is yours. You can get to Parnassus by swimming via Alligator Island.
6. Pets for the Berserker
For a Berserker, I believe there's only one pet, and that's the Chicken, never mind that it gives mage buffs. The main thing is that it pours Mana, which makes a berserker's life much easier.
