Something horrible happened in what is now known as the Cursed Village. Was the Lady Lidia responsible for these tragic events? What or who was behind the tragedy of the Hellmann Forest if not her?
Return to Dorian and tell him that Rose was buried in the grave. He will tell you who she was and how she managed not to become undead. He will ask for help once more and tell you that he once woke up wounded but remembered nothing. He will give you Silver Cross of Einhasad. You must find out what is happening in the village.
Return to the village after midnight and you will see that some villagers have become vampires and some have turned into minions of the raid boss Von Hellman. Run past the transformed Dorian'; Silver Cross of Einhasad will break and you will receive Broken Silver Cross of Einhasad — proof that you were in the village at night.
Do nothing else and return to Dorian in the daytime. Tell him about the vampire. Tell Dorian that he himself is the vampire, and you will learn that all this was just a test.
He will tell you to talk to the ghost of the maid. Maid of Lidia appears after midnight in the middle of a group of aggressive mobs near a broken cabinet. The location will be marked on the map, but going there directly solo is almost impossible. It is best to move along the western edge of the forest, and even then it will be very hard near the ghost itself — the vampires are social and vicious.
The ghost will thank you on behalf of the Lady and give you Lidia's Letter.
After reading it, talk to the ghost again, and she will ask about the hairpin. You won't have it with you, since you dropped it while running around with the cross near Dorian at night. Talk to him in the daytime, and he will suddenly remember that he recently found someone's hairpin here. Return to the maid at night and give her Lidia's Hairpin.
When she asks what you know about Nidrah, answer that he is a sorcerer. She will ask how you found out — say that you read it in the diary. She will be curious about what was on the torn-out page of the diary.
As soon as you get the doll, return to Mysterious Wizard and show it to him. He will say it is just an amulet, but he doesn't like it. This doll is a totem for Lord of the Forest of the Dead. He will tell you to come back later.
Talk to him again and hint that you know he is collecting materials for dark rituals, and then that he is part of everything that is going on. He will listen to you, agreeing with all your arguments, and in the end he will take the doll you brought, give you another one Suspicious Totem Doll, and tell you to visit Priest Benedict in Rune Township, who can tell you more about what is really going on if you hint at "the one who hides the truth".
