  1. Menacing Origins
    • Target: Captain Andrei
    • There are reports that creatures created by Shilen are threatening to invade Goddard. You have been instructed to travel to Goddard and speak with Captain Andrei and warm him about the impending attack.
  2. Find the Reconnaissance Team
    • Target: Gerkenshtein
    • After being warned about what happened in Aden Captain Andrei says that he will alert his superiors. Also, an reconnaissance team was recently dispatched to the Shrine of Loyalty to research the strange activity that has recently arisen. Andrei said you should be able to locate Elmorean scholar Gerkenshtein who is part of the reconnaissance team.
  3. Ash Collection
    • Target: Shrine of Loyalty
    • You need to gather evidence supporting Gerkenshtein's theory. Destroy the Monsters around the Shrine of Loyalty and bring him whatever is left of them.

      Hunting targets: Carrion Scarab, Grave Ant, Shrine Knight.
  4. Return to Gerkenshtein
    • Target: Gerkenshtein
    • You collect all the Remnant Ash Gerkenshtein requires. Return back and speak with him.

Quest walkthrough

  1. Talk to your Race Master in Town of Aden :
    • Humans - High Priest Orven in Einhasad Temple.
    • Elves - Grand Magister Winonin in Magic Guild.
    • Dark Elves - Grand Master Oltran in Dark Elf Guild.
    • Orcs - High Prefect Ladanza in Orc Guild.
    • Dwarves - Head Blacksmith Ferris in Blacksmith.
    • Kamael - Grand Master Brome in Kamael Guild.
  2. Go to Town of Goddard and talk to Captain Andrei .
  3. Go to Shrine of Loyalty and talk to Gerkenshtein .
  4. Right there in Shrine of Loyalty, "without leaving the till", kill the monsters Scavenger Scarab (level 68), Scavenger Ant (level 68) and Shrine Knight (level 68) until you collect Weapon art of battle axe i00 030 Remnant Ashes.
  5. Return to Gerkenshtein and receive the reward and access to the next quest Grasp Thy Power.
