Territory Wars
Territory Battles/Practical Guide on territory battles.
- Territory Battles (Territory Battles) have been added. Unlike Castle Siege, which are held by clans, these battles are a new kind of PvP content.
- Ordinary players can influence the rule of the continent by taking part in Territory skirmishes as mercenaries.
- A territory adds to the top-class residence (castle) a clan can own: the castle village/town and the surrounding hunting grounds. This increases economic profit and plays a certain role in building additional relationships among all players.
- A Territory consists of at least one castle, the castle village/town, territory forts and hunting grounds. There are nine Territories in total: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren, Aden, Innadril, Goddard, Rune and Schuttgart.

Proclaiming dominion over a Territory
When a castle siege ends, the lands around the castle are proclaimed a Territory owned by the clan that owns the castle.
When authority over a Territory is declared, the following changes take effect:
- Inside the castle village/town, Territory Manager. appears near Manor Manager For Territory Badges he sells territory quest rewards and special products connected with the surrounding territories.
- Inside the castle village/town, Mercenary Captain. appears near Manor Manager
- At the corresponding Mercenary Captain you can sign up as a mercenary, buy various items used in territory wars, and take quests to raise your own mercenary rating.
Lord Proclamation
Once power over the Territory has been proclaimed, the castle owner can take the quest Path to Becoming a Lord from the castle's Chamberlain
To proclaim a Lord, the following requirements must be met:
- All forts in the Territory (except border ones) must have the same status: either "no relations" or "contract signed".
- The CL must complete the quest Path to Becoming a Lord.
- The quest must be completed at least two hours before the Territory War starts.
When a Lord is proclaimed, the following changes take effect:
- Being a Proclaimed Lord is one of the required conditions for raising the clan level to 11.
- The emblem of the clan that owns the territory is shown on the NPC belonging to that territory.
- Sales volumes of seed and crops in the castle increase by 10%.
The Lord's Proclamation is automatically canceled in the following situations:
- Disbanding the clan that proclaimed the Lord.
- Changing the Lord after a castle siege ends.
When the Lord's Proclamation is canceled, all related functions are canceled.
Taking part in a Territory War
- Territory Battles have the same cycle as castle sieges (every 2 weeks) and run on Saturday, right up to the start of the castle sieges.
- Right after a castle siege ends, the Territory Battle goes into preparation mode. The Territory Battle starts at the set time regardless of the Lord's Proclamation of the corresponding castle.
- The Territory is automatically Proclaimed as owned after the siege ends.
Registration for participation
- Registration is done through the Mercenary Captain of the corresponding territory.
- You can take part in the Battle either as a whole clan or individually. When the clan is signed up by the leader or a clan member with the right permissions, all members of that clan are automatically registered for the Battle. With individual registration, everyone can register on their own. Only characters of level 40+ who have completed class transfer 2 can register for Territory Battles.
- Registration for a Territory Battle is available no later than 2 hours before it starts.
- Registration can be canceled through Mercenary Captain no later than 2 hours before the Battle starts.
- The clan that owns the territory is registered automatically.
Start of Territory Wars
- When a Territory Battle starts, the inner territory of the Castle, the surrounding lands and the territory of the nearest Fort become a combat zone. Characters not taking part in the Battle who were in these zones are teleported outside the combat zone.
- The Territory Lord can build a Camp or an Outpost in the combat zone.
- Other participating clan leaders can only build a Camp within the combat zone.
- When the gates of a castle or fort within the Territory are closed, they can be attacked.
- The "Battlefield" channel is automatically activated 20 minutes before the Battle starts. It can be used with the ^ (Shift+6) symbol, and leaders of clans on the friendly side can coordinate through it before the Battle starts. Once the Battle starts, all participants can talk in this channel. The channel is automatically deactivated 10 minutes after the Territory Battle ends.
- Territory Ward and the supplies are placed inside the castle, and the Territory Catapult inside the Fort nearest the castle.
Battle rules
- The basic rules of a Territory Battle are similar to those of a Castle Siege: players are divided into friendly forces, enemies and non-participants.
- Friendly forces include members of the clan that owns this territory, registered clan members and registered individuals.
- Members of any clan that owns another territory are enemies to everyone else.
- Any player not registered for the Territory War counts as a non-participant.
- Everyone taking part in a Territory Battle is marked with the territory emblem above their name.
- In the combat zone during a Territory War you don't need to use force attack. When you target an enemy or non-participating player, your cursor automatically shows a sword icon. Friendly forces can't be attacked even with force attack.
- Ranged attacks damage friendly forces and non-participants.
- The PK count doesn't change in the combat zone.
- There's no PK penalty for killing a member of the enemy side, even if the enemy leaves the combat zone.
- If a non-participant leaves the combat zone, they turn purple for 120 seconds.
- If a player registered for the Territory Battle dies in the combat zone, they don't lose XP and/or items.
- If a non-participant dies in the combat zone, they get the same penalties as if they died anywhere else.
- Any player registered for the Territory Battle can resurrect in the castle residence or in the village nearest the Camp/Outpost.
Outposts
- The leader of the clan that owns the castle can build an Outpost.
- Building an Outpost requires 120 B Grade Gemstones and 30 MP.
- Only one Outpost can exist at a time, but they can be built and destroyed any number of times during the Battle.
- You can't destroy or repair your own Outpost.
- All friendly forces near the Outpost get a 100% bonus to HP/MP recovery rate.
- Any player registered for the Battle can resurrect at the Outpost or Camp after death.
- Flags from a castle must be carried to outposts and secured within 2-3 minutes, after which the flag becomes the property of the castle that owns the outpost
- When the Territory Battle ends, all Outposts disappear.
Victory Conditions
Territory Wars
- When a Territory Battle starts, Territory Ward. appears inside the castle that proclaimed this territory
- As soon as you destroy the enemy castle's Territory Ward, it immediately appears in your character's hands. Having taken the enemy Territory Ward, you must find your way to your clan's Outpost and use the skill Capture Ward. This places Ward in your castle's territory.
- The location of the player holding Territory Ward can be found on the minimap.
- If the player holding Territory Ward dies or disconnects, Territory Ward drops to the ground.
- When the Territory Battle ends, Territory Ward returns to its original castle if it's still in the hands of a player who never delivered it to their own castle, or if it was lying on the ground.
- All Ward successfully delivered from other territories stay in the castle that captured them until the next Territory Battle. If a castle has lost its Ward, it has to recapture it in the next Territory Battle if it wants it back.
Territory Catapult
- When a Territory Battle starts, a Territory Catapult appears inside the Fort nearest the castle. Enemies can attack it. As soon as it's destroyed, all the castle's NPC defenders disappear, all of the castle's defensive functions turn off and all the castle gates open.
Mercenaries
- All Territory Battle participants, except members of the clan that owns the castle, are guaranteed anonymity in the Territory Battle by changing the character's name and transforming into a Mercenary. Chaotic characters (including the holder of a cursed sword) and Olympiad participants can't change their character name or transform.
- To change your character's name, use Disguise Scroll, bought from Mercenary Captain. It can be used from 20 minutes before the Territory Battle starts, and 10 minutes after the Battle ends the character gets their original name back.
- The character name shown in chat and system messages changes too. The original name is shown in PMs and in the trade window. The changed name persists even through death and reconnects. A player who has changed their name can't use Private Store, Private Manufacture and Dwarven Manufacture until they cancel Disguise Scroll.
- Territory Battle participants can buy Mercenary Transformation Scroll from Mercenary Captain. While transformed into a mercenary, you can't get Exp or SP. Moreover, everyone in a party with this character can't get Exp and SP. either. Individual Fame points can still be earned.
- Those who have completed the quest Path to Becoming a Mercenary can buy Upper Rank Mercenary Transformation Scroll.
- The transformation lasts 30 minutes and isn't canceled even by death. Mercenary Transformation Scroll can be used 20 minutes before the Battle starts.
