Treasure Hunter (Freya) guide — Adventurer
Treasure Hunter class guide for Lineage 2 Freya: how to get the class, which skills to take, what to wear and where to level.
Introduction
Treasure Hunter (Treasure Hunter) – Possibly the strongest and most popular dagger user. One of the best PvP melee classes in Lineage II. He has passive skills for critical damage and crit frequency, so he's good for leveling, and in PvP his skills hit quite hard. He also has a passive skill that increases attack speed, so he has the highest attack speed of all daggers. But the TH is the slowest of the daggers, which is a very serious drawback for a melee class. He has few self buffs compared to the AW and PW. But their absence is offset by high base stats:

Tattoo
- PvE set:
- The ideal damage per second comes with these tattoos: -4CON +4STR; -2CON +2DEX; -3CON +3DEX. This way we raise our character's combat stats at the cost of HP and CP. With this set, killing mobs will be very easy thanks to high P. Atk., critical hits and attack speed. But PvP will be rather hard with these tattoos because of the low HP and CP.
- PvP set:
- So let's give our TH a fighting spirit: -4STR +4CON; -2STR +2DEX; -3STR +3DEX. This way we raise critical rate, attack speed, running speed, evasion, HP and CP at the cost of P. Atk. Since we know P. Atk. doesn't affect skill damage much, we can well afford to lower it. Leveling with this set won't be sensible because of the low P. Atk. While leveling we rarely use skills, sometimes not at all - mostly normal hits.

Kris [Focus]price in Giran (shop): 10-12kk plain and 14-15kk with SA

Zubei Light Set+4 Evasion or keep running in the same C grade; costs around 5-6kk in the shop
A-grade

Majestic Light Set(+1 Dex, -1 Con) +8% P.Atk from bows and crossbows, +240 MP, +5759 Load, -50% chance to be stunned. The best set for PvP against stunning opponents, and also useful when leveling a subclass, especially an archer. Be sure to enchant the PvP option too (Endless Mirage will raise our survivability).

Dark Crystal Light Set(+1 Str, -1 Con) +4% P.Atk, +4% P.Aspd, +50% to paralysis resistanceGood for PvE (leveling)

Tallum Heavy Set(+2 Str, -2 Con) +8% P.Aspd, +5759 Load, +80% resistance to poison spells, -80% chance of getting a bleeding wound. Also an interesting option, but since the Light armor passive started giving extra evasion, it's less interesting than the previous ones.
I don't recommend buying a weapon for this grade, since a Crystal Dagger with the Focus SA is quite enough for leveling. You can enchant it a little to +4—5 and also insert a Life Stone.
S-grade

Angel Slayer [Critical Damage] or [Haste]The price depends on the server, but it's better to either get it from a RB or craft it (more profitable, sometimes faster), and also collect attribute stones to insert into the SA and get SA+150 attribute, which gives a huge damage bonus provided your skills are enchanted for the same attribute.

Draconic Leather Light Armor Set(+1 Dex, +1 Str, -2 Con) P. Atk. speed +4%, Max MP 289, weight limit +5759Collect it in any case, since you can insert attribute stones, which gives a solid boost to defense. Also be sure to enchant the PvP option (Endless Mirage will increase our survivability).

Also
Starting from top A grade, you can add extra PvP bonuses to weapons and armor at Reputation Manager'a for Fame. In a PvP item you can't insert/remove an attribute, augmentation or shoulder pads (for s80 armor), you can only enchant it, so first make sure you've inserted everything you need.
- A couple of active LSs that will brighten your life:
AgilityTemporarily increases the character's evasion.
HealingInstantly restores the character's HP
RefreshTemporarily reduces reuse time for all skills. (-20% skill cooldown)
Spell RefreshTemporarily reduces reuse time for physical skills. (-30% skill cooldown)
Lesser Celestial ShieldSimilar to the Bishop's Celestial Shield skill; lasts 7 seconds, reuse 30 minutes, but disappears on any action. The special thing about this augment is that it doesn't replace other augment buffs, while all the others replace each other.
Jewelry
- Epic jewelry:
- Queen Ant's Ring
- Baium's Ring
- Earring of Zaken
- Necklace of Frintezza
- Necklace of Freya
- Blessed Necklace of Freya
- Earring of Antharas
- Necklace of Valakas
For Olympiad Tokens y Grand the Olympiad Grand Manager sells A-grade shadow jewelry, which lasts 30 days and is a cut-down version of epic jewelry.
- Olympiad Warrior's Ring
- Olympiad Warrior's Earring
- Olympiad Warrior's Necklace
- Jewelry for taking part in Territory Wars:
- Epilogue introduced new jewelry given as a reward for Territory War badges. It has M. Def. like Dynasty jewelry and is a good alternative or addition to epic jewelry. The rings give +15 resistance to various elements, the necklaces +30 resistance, and the earrings give several different bonuses.
- For Territory War badges you can also make a belt, into which you insert a pouch (increases inventory slots), a rivet (increases weight limit), an ornament (increases PvP defense against physical hits and skills) or a clip (increases HP or MP regen).
Leveling
I won't describe it up to level 20 — all the quests come from the Newbie Helper
- 20—28
- Go do the Path of Destiny quest, and here we are at level 21. Also do Dangerous Seduction, which gives another +20% and 100k
- Go to Gludio and, with 2 people, clear the Hall of the Abyss level 23 (Kamaloka)
- Register for the catacombs. Go level in the Necropolis of Sacrifice (below Gludin).
- 28—40
- I chose the Partisan Hideaway: mobs are x2 and herbs drop.
- You can go to the Catacomb of the Heretic (near Dion)
- Start the quests for the 2 class, and also do quests such as Temple Missionary, Temple Executor, Temple Champion — 1, Temple Champion — 2, Twilight Fox — 1, Twilight Fox — 2, Twilight Fox — 3, Fallen Angel — Request of Dusk.
- 40—52
- The best here is the Catacomb of the Branded.
- Alligator Island
- We go to Kamaloka.
- Dragon Valley.
- 52—60
- Catacomb of the Apostate.
- The Ice Labyrinth is a very good place for resources; if you go there, be sure to take the quest Dream of an Ice Merchant at level 53.
- 60—66
- Or go to the Witch's Catacombs. AAs drop quite well there, but you'd better have either a CP or a mini party of a buffer + one more dagger.
- The Necropolis of Devotion. Almost like the Witch catacomb, only with fewer people.
- The Blazing Swamp.
- 66—74
- I'd choose the Tower of Insolence (ToI) with the quests Legacy of Insolence and Audacity — everyone should complete the latter to be able to go to Baium.
- Or, alternatively, various catacombs or necropolises.
- Again, the Blazing Swamp with the quest Supplier of Reagents
- Near Goddard. Very good, since at 66+ the mobs there basically go down from 1 backstab.
- 74+
- There are many places here; the best is the Hot Springs with the quest Best of Ingredients – part 1 for the 3 class + decent solo leveling there with a MJ (Majestic) light set, since many mobs stun.
- Varka Silenos Barracks or Ketra Orc Outpost + the corresponding alliance quest with one or the other, whichever you like more.
- 78+
- In the Giant's Cave or under it. It feels like the best of the new locations.
- This is Parnassus, in a party
- Hellbound, but you need good gear and a good party here.
Subclass skills

Boost CPincrease max. CP(Warrior Class - Gladiator, Warlord, Bounty Hunter, Tyrant, Destroyer)
- An interesting and useful skill. Of course it won't save you from mage/archer nukes much. But it increases survivability against other classes, and it's easier to heal up with SP potions.

Boost Evasionevasion increase (Rogue Class - Hawkeye, Phantom Ranger)
- We already have plenty of evasion. BUT it's our main stat for defending against archers. The more evasion, the lower the chance they hit us....

Counter Barrierwhen hit, there's a chance to get temporary invincibility (Enchanter Class - Prophet, Warcryer, Bladedancer) - A very good skill. Why? Because it's invincibility, and you can do anything you want while it's on. It's just a pity it's only 5 sec.
Olympiad
- Secondary weapon
-
- Staff of Evil Spirits - Blessed Body. Gives a 20% chance to cast Blessed Body when using a beneficial skill on the target. Effect 5. -
- Hell Knife - Mental Shield. Gives a 50% chance to cast Mental Shield when using a beneficial skill on the target. Effect 4.
