Bladedancer (Freya) guide — Spectral Dancer
A Bladedancer class guide for Lineage 2 Freya: how to get the class, which skills to take, what to wear and where to level. What's closer to you? Perhaps the unrivaled grace of seduction: languid curves, a voluptuous figure, a narrow waist and the eyes of a femme fatale, or the well-built silhouette of a fighter whose body is a weave of muscle and cold fearlessness?
In any case, dark skin, the night and the magic of the goddess Shilen will be your companions until the end of this world's ages.
You have to love this race with all your being: you simply must admire your sexy chosen one or be wholly proud of your haughty dark knight, and never, ever doubt your choice. Dark elves are a play style, an image and charisma.
No race has as much inner energy as this one. So if you're indifferent to the dark side of the force, don't pick it - it won't manifest in you properly, won't show all its power and grandeur.
Oh, those dark ones - no one else goes to extremes like they do. Everything about them is maximal and contradictory: power and weakness, life and death - the edges of a single blade.
Only a few come to know the hidden power - only those who aren't afraid to cut themselves on every blade …
Enough with the lyrics, now to business. If you've firmly decided to play a dark-skinned one in heavy armor, we don't have a lot of choice. SK and the BD (let's start with him)
The Dancer is the main DD (damage-dealing) support. A unique weave of super useful dances for every kind of boost, the best friend of mages and warriors both in leveling and in PvP (especially in PvP). He's the Gladiator's favorite friend, since he wears dual swords and can't live without them (ideological brothers, really).
"Oh, how pleasant it is at a rest stop to chat with a skinny colleague about our sharp friends"
Until recently he was considered a mediocre, boring support character (by silly humans, yes). Yet he has huge power and attack speed - literally a blender for a bloody cocktail (especially since elemental attributes were introduced for duals).
The only downside: for real combat efficiency your target has to stand still (so all the hits connect). Root or your party members' slowing skills help with this. See a motionless target - chop it into slices. And duals ++++ play no small part in this.
BD has a huge number of formidable debuffs in his arsenal (they land very well), which allows varied tactics in combat. As someone who played a high-level BD for a long time, I'll say - in PvP I really enjoyed him (the duals were +15, heh)
It's important to understand that this is a class whose purpose is to make large-scale "mischief" for the enemy squad, strengthen your own party, and weaken the defenses of your party DDs' (main damage dealers') first targets as much as possible.
The dancing fighter wears heavy armor and has primary UD. This lends itself to attacking and drawing fire, which is also helped by "aggression" (pulling the target onto yourself) - the most important skill for "mischief" and giving your party's doctors a chance to survive =) And in UD you can also use a bow (that's for the rich).
If a dancer hacks away with his swords way too much in a fight, he's way too much of an idiot.
In conclusion I want to say that in skilled, loving hands this character is capable of a lot. He may not be an Olympiad favorite, but in pvp he plays a key role and is very varied to control. The main thing is to be aware of your functions and perform them flawlessly, analyze and choose the best battle strategy.
Although in Gracia Final at 83 (!) his stats grow a lot and he won't lose so absurdly in the arena, but how many people will reach such heights?
True fans only!
There's also a guide on the forum, which is no longer a forum but a dump Goha.ru Here it is. But I think it was written back in C4 times
"Part 1, or EVERYBODY Dance!"
What do we have? A Dancer — how beautiful that sounds o_O, but what does he dance?

Well, in the world of Lineage 2 you can't get good gear, progress, etc. alone without a Clan and a static party. Well, you can, but it's very tedious.
Let me explain what a static party is
For fast progress, leveling, ganks and so on, I use a static party. Let me explain what that is:
- Constans - (from Latin) constant, unchanging.
Simply put, a "static party" (hereafter just "static") is an independent combat and economic unit whose members are in one clan and always level and attend clan events together. I.e. a party (archers, mages, melee) is gathered that acts as one combat unit. Why you need it:
- A party that plays well together is much more effective in any situation, be it a gank, a RB raid or just leveling.
- A party with months of shared playing experience is much more effective in PvP and mass PvP
- If you play a support, you can always be sure that when you log in you'll 99% have a party. And it's handy not only for supports: leveling alone on x1 rates is, let's say, an acquired taste...
- It's much easier for the clan leader to coordinate the clan at sieges and ganks by giving the necessary information to the PL (party leader) of a static, rather than to each player separately.
Main features of a static party
- The same and simultaneous online time of party members. - a static party is formed based on players' online hours during the day. Prime time is the main time a static gathers to level or carry out tasks from the PL or CL, when all static members are online.
- Teamwork. - successfully completing tasks relies on teamwork and mutual understanding between party members, when actions in one situation or another become automatic.
- Discipline.
- There are several kinds of static parties.
- Mage static party
- Melee static party (Melee warriors; Daggers are taken most often.)
- And the Archer static party.
- Let me explain what's what.
- Archer party. You won't have to hit mobs as you would in a melee static. Your only job is to give Dances and Songs in the right gaps. Oh yes, you also have the "Aggression" skill, and it consumes 0 MP. Aggro mobs together with the SwS, let them run back and forth. And I think the Archers and Healers won't let you die. :)
- Mage static party. Well, a proper mage static levels with AoE (mass skills, killing several mobs at once). And obviously money will pour in like crazy. And the leveling will be excellent. I.e., again, you need to give Songs and Dances in the right gaps, and then you can sit back.
- Melee static party. Here everything is a bit more complicated. If you want to join this static, it means you don't want a free ride. You'll have to keep up with Dances/Songs and hit mobs along with everyone else (otherwise there'll be a lot of yelling)
The main kinds of static parties and what they are — I think I've explained -) The choice is yours.
Part 4: Dances/Songs: What and how
It's all dances and dances, but how do you dance without music? Right. That's what the Singer (SwS) was invented for
The SwS and the Dancer are 2 complements to each other. Let me explain why. After level 40 the Dancer doesn't learn the Heavy Armor skill. So defense is poor, and our dances only increase attack.
The SwS (Minstrel) - for him it's all the other way around. Lacking P. Atk., but more defense than he knows what to do with...
Well then... Our job, as I said: "Dance and sing in the right gaps. That is, so to speak, 'in rhythm'"
The theory of dances/songs in a magic static party
- I can't give you clear instructions on what to do. But personally I've leveled in many mage groups, and everywhere they made me do this:
- Song\Dance of Mystic\Song\ Dance of Concentration\Song\Dance of Siren(This is after the 3 class)
- and before level 78, like this:
- Song\Dance of Concentration\Song\Song\Dance of Mystic..
- Dances in an Archer party.
- Before the 3 classes:
- Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of Inspiration\Song\Dance of Fire\Song.
- After the 3 classes:
- Song\Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of Inspiration\Song\Dance of Fire\Song.
- Before the 3 classes:
Notice? + 1 song at the start. The SwS gets this song at level 77. Effect: uses -5% MP when using a skill.
- And finally, Dances in a Melee static party.
- Before the 3 classes:
- Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of the Warrior\Song\Dance of Fire\Song
- After:
- Before the 3 classes:
Song\Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of the Warrior\Song\Dance of Fire\Song.
- Ganks:
All the same; in mage parties it's good to squeeze in Dance of Fury too, to spread Arrests. In melee/Archer parties:
- Archer: Song\Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of Inspiration\Song\Dance of Fire\Song\Dance of Concentration\Song. (if you have enough MP, Dance of the Warrior too)
- Melee: Song\Dance of Fury\Song\Dance of the Warrior\Song\Dance of Fire\Song\Dance of Concentration\song.
I danced like this, and neither the SwS nor I complained about MP. The SwS guide describes a completely different tactic, so I think both are right. Come to an agreement with your SwS :)!
Part 5: Skills and what they're for? Adapting to PvP in different static parties, actions at the Olympiad, etc.
In short, the BD is a decent combat unit in good hands. What nasty things can we do to the enemy? Let me tell you about our skills =)
Enchants for: Chance, Cost

Passive skills
All the Passive Skills listed above are learned only in the 1 class; they can't be learned further. (Except Magic Resistance)
Next come Passive Skills learned after the 3 class:
PvP situations. What do we do?!
What should we do in PvP? Melee/archer static parties
First, you should give Dances/Songs, drink an MP Elixir and run at the enemy party. No matter how - under heals, under Celestial, under GCP/CP potions - you must run up to the enemy party's healers and use the Dance of Medusa so they can't heal their damn DDs. Did it land? Excellent. Now the DDs' task is to spread Arrests so the damn ones don't run away.
What if the whole mob crowd aggroed on me? Stand in UD, pull out a bow and shoot the enemy party's Bishop/EE/SE. And then depending on the situation :)
Mage party
- Here everything is simpler =) Give Dances (there are fewer of them than in an Archer/Melee party) and run to use Medusa, but if the enemy party thinks even a little, they'll take you out first so as not to get hit by that damn Medusa :) Though who knows; anyway, Medusa didn't land? Throw Arrests, turn on UD and shoot the Bishop/EE/SE with the Bow again
Took them out? OK! Kill the DD.
Next LVL: Grand Olympiad
Well then, we're honorable Nobles and we really want Hero status.
The BD is not a PvP class, damn it. In short, to farm the Olympiad at least somehow we need:
- Angel Slayer (easiest and cheapest) with the PvP effect + Haste SA, or better an s80/s84 dagger with the Focus SA
- Dual Swords (Icarus/Dynasty/Vesper). Of course, the higher the enchant, the better.
- Some kind of bow. Again, the higher the enchant, the better
- Hell Knife with the Mental SA
- Staff of Evil Spirits with the HP SA
- MA set with an attribute (so you don't get freaking stunned) and a DC robe set (against Soul Breakers)
In short, our tactics are as follows
If a Soul Breaker is against us - put on the DC set and buff some junk at the end (so they don't steal the main buffs). If it's some stun-bot (tanks, archers, Overlords/Warcryers, Berserkers and other stun nonsense) - put on the MA set and..
- Buff 5 buffs (WW, Haste, Focus, Death Whisper, Guidance :D
- Put on the Hell Knife and cast the Auras on yourself:
Noblesse buff, etc., until the Mental Shield buff lands. If you have a decent Refresh LS or something, also buff the LS skill - Put on and repeat
- Dance the dances we need
And whatever else you want to dance x) If an Archer is against us - - Go into battle, use (well, without an enchanted Medusa there's no damn point at the Olympiad) — if it didn't land, use it until it does (throw Arrests, go into UD or whatever)
- Once Medusa has landed
- pull out our dagger with the PvP effect and beat the enemy. Why? The PvP effect is cancel. Hit until you've canceled everything. - And then pull out the bow/enchanted duals and finish him off. GG
A few words from the author
In short, after playing a BD for just half a year, I realized the BD is quite a decent class :) If you know how to play it, you can make the enemy's life pretty hard and help your party :)
Play for fun, good luck on your journey
