Weapons

C grade

P. Atk.: 190 M. Atk.: 83. Take a sword! A blunt won't be of much use at this level.. If money allows, buy a real one and take the Focus SA.. Focus (Focus) - Increases Critical Rate by 73. B Grade

P. Atk.: 213 M. Atk.: 91. Focus SA. Focus (Focus) - Increases Critical Rate by 68..

SA in the weapon

For leveling use Focus.. For PvP only HP!

TATTOOS

The simplest builds: a. +5 STR +4 DEX -9 CON - a build for leveling and farming; some manage to use it in PvP/olympiad conditions too. b. +5 STR -5 CON - the most popular build for both farming and PvP. c. no dyes - everything stays as it is; you have a lot of HP, CP but also average P. Atk.

An attribute in the weapon!

Initially there are 6 of them: fire, water, holy, dark, wind, earth. The chance of inserting an attribute stone is about 50%. However, if you fail, the attribute level doesn't drop or reset — you just lose the stone. In HF there are 2 main stages of attribute insertion: up to 150 and up to 300. Up to 150, ordinary attribute stones are used (Elemental Stone, etc.); from 150 to 300, Elemental Crystals are used. Elemental Stones are obtained by knocking them out of mobs. All stone groups (Fire/Water, Wind/Earth, Holy/Dark) can be exchanged for each other at the Attribute Master NPC in Aden (near the blacksmith) and Rune — i.e. you can exchange fire for water and vice versa at no cost. You can also exchange 5 elemental stones for 1 elemental crystal at the Attribute Master NPC (this costs 3kk). Enchant the weapon with any attribute except holy/dark.

An attribute in the armor!

Up to 3 attributes can be inserted into armor 1 (you can't use opposite ones, e.g. dark/holy, etc.). From myself I'll say: put in extra defense against fire, wind and dark... armor attribute (60/120). The same rules apply to armor as to weapons, with one exception: by inserting a stone you get the opposite resistance. For example, by inserting a Holy Stone you get Dark resistance, and so on.

Leveling spots and techniques. Personal experience

Noobhood. Levels 1-20

Up to level 20 it's very easy to level up on side quests, reaching level 20 with 4 bars of vitality. Here is the most optimal and fastest way for us to reach level 20. Get level 18, do the class quest, get level 20.

Youth. Levels 21-40

There aren't many leveling options at these levels; mostly it's General locations + Kamaloka. 21-30 1) Try to find or gather a party for RBs.. If there's none or you're too lazy to gather one, level in the catacombs 2) Catacomb of the Heretic. 31-40 1) Hardin's Academy, teleport from Oren; I leveled there.. quite decent exp from the mobs.. also visit Kamaloka every day: 22-29 in Gludio and 33-39 in Dion. Leveling in D grade is simple and basically fast — put on common D gear and off you go. No difficulties.

40-52

1) Alligator Island. Decent exp from the mobs; at the end there are party mobs giving 10% per party mob with full vitality at 45.. (from Heine) 2) Enchanted Valley (from Oren)

Also visit Kamaloka in Heine regularly. Learn all the necessary skills. Your task is to find the optimal leveling spot and concentrate on it.

Levels 52-61. Adolescence

By now we've more or less gotten used to the class, we understand which buttons to press and how to move. However, we still badly need experience (and you'll always need experience, even at level 85). 1) Fields of Massacre - one of the priority spots (from Oren) 2) Frozen Labyrinth - I leveled there... pretty fast.. (Schuttgart)

Levels 62+. Young adulthood

1) Garden of Beasts - the coolest spot! (Goddard) 2) Wall of Argos - multiplied and strong mobs... Best to level there with good equipment. (Goddard) 3) Tower of Insolence - party leveling. (Aden) It's the right time to do the second Pailaka.

Levels 70+. Maturity

1) Wall of Argos - on the eyes and bears (Goddard) 2) Varka - a spot for solo leveling, decent exp. (Goddard) 3) Hot Springs (HS) - solo leveling. Cool exp. It's the right time to do the 3rd Pailaka

3 class. Levels 76-80. The beginning of the prime

1) Forge of the Gods (FoG) - a spot for party leveling.. Take a 80+ Destroyer with a polearm, a healer, a Warcryer, a BD, and go! (Goddard) 2) Giant's Cave (GC) - you need a full party here (Aden) 3) Isle of Prayer (IoP) - solo leveling + sometimes a fire stone drops. 4) Hellbound (HB) - available at 78 after completing the quest. Party leveling...

80-85 Old age

1) Giant's Cave (GC) 2) Hellbound (HB) 3) Crypts of Disgrace - solo leveling 4) Forge of the Gods (FoG) 5) Delusion Chambers (from the Delusion Chamber guide NPC) - the east chamber (East); 2 RB (Tower, Square); you can go for the 2 RB only 1 times a day, to the East as many times as you like..

PvP/subclass

To start proper PvP, you must learn a couple of simple but immutable truths:

1) True PvP starts at 80, or better at 81 2) The higher your level, the cooler you are. The PvP difference between 78 and 79 is huge, and between 79 and 80 even bigger. 3) Try to join a strong clan, otherwise you won't get to farm valuable resources, since the top groups occupy everything all the time. 4) Enchant your skills and insert attributes — these are very important aspects of the game. The more of both, the better. 5) Go to sieges, save up fame and get PvP versions of weapons and armor. By 80+ it's good to have at least one subclass 75, and you should have taken its skills long ago. Subclass options: Warcryer/SwS/BD — any DD — any subclass. As for subclass skills, take: heal-stat, counter-haste, passive crit +30
