The dragon Antharas

By completing this quest you get the item Portal Stone, which is needed to enter the lair of the epic boss Antharas (lv. 36).

Quest walkthrough

1. Talk to Gabrielle in Town of Giran and receive Feather of Gabrielle.
2. They will want to send you to look for the Seal Keepers to sign a contract for "an unlimited in time, and in any reasonable bounds of decency, number of surgical interventions into the local flora and fauna, without drawing up a written agreement with these very victims of surgical interventions about assuming any moral or material responsibility in the event of an outcome fatal to them" — but forget them and all this bureaucracy. =/
3. Just go and kill monsters (the order is completely arbitrary):
   • Forsaken Plains - kill Marsh Stalker (level 40) and receive Marsh Stalker Horn; kill Marsh Drake (level 40) and receive Marsh Drake Talons.
   • The Giant's Cave - kill Hamrut (level 40) and receive Hamrut Leg; kill Kranrot (level 40) and receive Kranrot Skin.
     • After the Gracia Epilogue update, Hamrut and Kranrot are to be found in Forsaken Plains .
   • The Forest of Mirrors (or Anghel Waterfall ) - kill Harit Lizardman Shaman (lv. 40) or Harit Lizardman Matriarch (lv. 40) until 3 Harit Lizardman Zealot (lv. 43) appear. After killing them all, you get Totem of Land Dragon.
   • The Forbidden Gateway (or Dragon Valley ) - kill Blood Queen (lv. 60) until 3 Ghost of Offering (lv. 44) appear. After killing them all, you get Remains of Sacrified.
     • After the High Five update, you will need to look for Blood Queen in Watcher's Tomb .
4. Off we go to sign the certificate of completed work. For completing the tasks, each of them will give you a token of recognition of your services to the fatherland (the order of visits doesn't matter either):
   • Ivory Tower - Magister Kaiena Floor 4. - Marsh Stalker Horn, Marsh Drake Talons - Guardian's Mark.
   • Hunters Village - Prefect Chakiris in Orc Guild. - Hamrut Leg, Kranrot Skin - Guardian's Mark.
   • Town of Aden - Master Kendra in Warrior Guild. - Totem of Land Dragon - Guardian's Mark.
   • Town of Aden - High Priest Orven in Einhasad Temple. - Remains of Sacrified - Guardian's Mark.
5. Return to Gabrielle.
6. Go and talk to NPC:
   • Warehouse Chief Moke in Gludin Village (Warehouse);
   • Blacksmith Helton in Town of Oren (Blacksmith).
7. Now you need to chip pieces off three Abyss Jewel and kill the defender minions that appear to get the second quest item from them:
   • Defender minions start spawning when 10—20% of the hp of Abyss Jewel has been taken off. You don't need to kill Abyss Jewel completely; it's enough to hit it until Fragment of Abyssal Jewel lands in your inventory. If the monster was there and you didn't get one or both of the required quest items, it will respawn again in 5 minutes. If for some reason you get 2 or more identical quest items, delete all the extra ones and keep only one, otherwise further progress in this quest may become impossible.
   • Abyssal Jewel 1 (lv. 83, 86) is in Windy Hill . After getting 1st Fragment of Abyssal Jewel and killing Jewel Guardian Mara (lv. 43) to get Mara Fang, return to Moke and receive Guardian's Mark.
   • Abyssal Jewel 2 (lv. 43) is in Sea of Spores . After getting 2nd Fragment of Abyssal Jewel and killing Jewel Guardian Musfel (lv. 43) to get Musfel Fang, return to Helton and receive Guardian's Mark.
8. Return to Gabrielle.
9. Talk to Antharas Watchman Gilmore at the entrance to Dragon Valley on the Death Pass side.
10. Go to the entrance to Antharas' Lair in Dragon Valley . Kill Cave Keeper (lv. 26) and Cave Maiden (lv. 34) until Abyssal Jewel 3 (lv. 43) appears. Break it like the previous ones; you can simply ignore the Jewel Guardian Pyton (lv. 43) that appear, they're of no value to us. Receive 3rd Fragment of Abyss Jewel.
    • After the High Five update, Cave Keeper and Cave Maiden are to be found in Watcher's Tomb .
11. Talk to Antharas Watchman Theodric at the entrance to Antharas' Lair in Dragon Valley and receive the reward.
    • After the High Five update, the teleport routes from Gatekeeper that take you straight to the entrances of Antharas' Lair and Dragon Valley were moved from Town of Giran to Hunters Village; you should definitely use them, since because of the location changes it's impossible to walk to Theodric at this level.

Reward

• Portal Stone (goes into the quest inventory) - lets you enter Antharas' Nest through Heart of Warding deep in Antharas' Lair.
  • After the High Five update, Portal Stone becomes reusable and does not disappear after the first use.
