Main goals
- As few mobs as possible, since at the start of a new server there will be a big shortage of monsters.
- Speed, so you can kill the quest monsters for the first class transfer before the bulk of the players reach the quest spots.
Walkthrough
- Create a character, log in and talk to Newbie Helper. right away
- Hit 1 gremlin; a second later it drops a quest item (automatic level-up to 2). Pick up the crystal and get shots from Newbie Guide.
- Talk to the second NPC, standing next to Newbie Guide, and teleport with him to Kamael Village.
- Click the Newbie Guide you've ended up at. You get a pointer, and you run along it to the guard.
- The first quest is Supply Check; the reward is the Wooden set (mages: sell it to the shop, they'll only give 8.5k, but soon you'll be able to save up for Devotion); click Newbie Guide and get level 6.
- On reaching level 6, you can get the following items from the newbie guide: 5 vouchers for Shadow Weapon, 2 scrolls removing the death penalty (after each death from a mob you get a penalty that won't go away by itself; you must remove it, or with further deaths its level will rise and leveling will get harder and harder), 5 regular SoE scrolls and 10 SoE scrolls in Kamael Village. Exchange all the vouchers in advance; after taking class transfer 1 they can't be exchanged; if you're overweight, put them in Warehouse; you may have to level with them until you get D-grade shots. Besides the items, you can also get a 1-hour buff from Newbie Guide.
- To save time we'll use SoE in Kamael Village; when teleporting, click Newbie Guide right away and teleport to the village we need.
- Also, on reaching level 6, a window pops up telling you whom to talk to in order to take the shots quest (for DE it's Sentry Kristin). After taking this quest, kill one mob, get one quest item, use SoE Kamael --> your village (if it's a long run for someone), hand it in, get 6k shots and automatically level up to 10.
- Run up to Newbie Guide in your village and he'll give you a pointer to the next useful quest. So at level 10 we do the weapon quest (lots of running), constantly using SoE to Kamael, and get level 12, 6k soul/spiritshots, 1k no-grade shots, echo crystals, 100 Lesser Healing Potion and a weapon (to the shop, since it's worse than the shadow one in every way). Go to the newbie guide, automatically level up to 15 and get the next arrow.
- Complete the quest, run to the newbie guide: level-up to 18.
- Go for the class transfer to Town of Gludio/Gludin Village. Hand in the quest and get level 20.
- Talk to the head of your guild, take the class transfer and get 15 vouchers for Shadow D Grade.
In total we spent: 1 Gremlin, 1 Imp, 10 Skeleton, 1 Dark Horror, 10 Moonstone Beast. Result: in an hour we have the first class transfer and access to D Grade, ~200k in the pocket and vitality level 4.
P.S. The difference between the options is small.
