Quest walkthrough
- Talk to the elder of your race in Talking Island Village
.
- The elder senses a hidden power in you, and to awaken it you'll need to take a little walk through Labyrinth of Belis. Go to the entrance of Ruins of Ye Sagira and talk to Lakcis. The fastest way to get there is to use the services of Gatekeeper Richard.
- Talk to Lakcis
in Ruins of Ye Sagira
. He will warn you about the dangers of the labyrinth and move you to Exploration Zone 5, where you'll need to talk to Sebion. - Talk to Sebion
. He will tell you that he noticed a group of suspicious-looking people going into the labyrinth, and apparently it's the same group that attacked you in the museum trying to get the ancient book about the giants. While following them, Sebion found out that they have a leader, someone named Nemertess, who was performing some dark ritual in the labyrinth. So he sent messages to the town asking for reinforcements, and as it turns out, you are those reinforcements. A very witty joke on the elders' part. In short, you can forget about an easy walk. Talk to him again so that he moves you to Labyrinth of Belis
. - Talk to Infiltration Officer
inside the labyrinth, say that you're ready, and he will open the door to the first room. The first room has several Embryo Operative (lv. 4); kill them all, and the door to the corridor opens. - Talk to Infiltration Officer near the second door, say that you're ready, and he will open the door. In the second room you'll need to use
3 Belis's Mark to activate Belis Verification System
in the center so that the door to the corridor opens. To get Mark of Belis, kill Embryo Handyman (lv. 4). You also need to activate it three times; you can activate it each time you get one Belis's Mark, or collect 3 Belis's Mark first and activate them in a row — it makes no difference. - Talk to Infiltration Officer near the third door, say that you're ready, and he will open the door. In the center of the third room stands Electricity Generator
, emitting destructive energy, so don't go in there, otherwise your health will drop to one within a few seconds. Infiltration Officer will go in himself and start destroying the device. Your task is to kill the Operative (lv. 4) and Handyman (lv. 4) running from the corridor you came from. - It's better to stand at the very start of the corridor, as close to the second room as possible, since Handyman have a very large shooting range.
- Talk to Infiltration Officer near the fourth door, say that you're ready, and he will open the door. You'll see a short cutscene where a dark elf and some vile creature stand in the room, after which the creature disappears and the elf transforms. This is Nemertess (lv. 4) himself. After you defeat him there will be another short cutscene where Nemertess says that defeat was not part of his plans, but his plan will be completed even without him, and so on in the same vein. You will receive
Saril's Necklace. - Talk to Infiltration Officer so that he moves you back to Sebion in Exploration Zone 5.
- Talk to Sebion. He thinks you need to tell Pantheon about all this and show him the necklace. Teleport to Talking Island Village and go to the southern part of town, to the museum.
- Talk to Pantheon
. Unfortunately, he won't tell you anything encouraging. It also turns out that he gave this necklace to his son Saril a few months ago, and now it's the only thing that will remind him of his son. One way or another, you've done all you could for the island, and now you're to set off into the wider world and look for those in need of help there. - Talk to the elder of your race from whom you took the quest, in the administrative part of town, choose your first class and receive the reward.
- When you finish the quest, talk to Flame Lord Kakai in the center of the office to take the quest Tough Road from him.
Reward
- After completing the quest you'll receive
