What is Lineage 2
Explore an exciting and dramatic fantasy world known for its unique political and economic systems.
Take part in castle sieges, hunts for fantastic monsters and epic wars between clans.
You'll need perseverance, cunning and strategy to survive!
Lineage II offers a huge amount of PvP content for hardcore players. In Russia the game is distributed on the f2p model, i.e. for free.
How to start playing
1. Download and install the Launcher. - [1]
2. Launch it and choose the "Sign in with password" tab. If you don't have an account, press "Register an account."
3. Enter the login and password of the Master account in the fields (the one you used to log into the account center before). Don't forget that the Master account must be the one your character is on! If the login/password doesn't work, try entering your registration email in the login field.
4. Press the "Everything's correct, sign in" button.
5. In the list on the left, choose the game — Lineage 2.
6. Press the folder button (to specify the path to the game directory).
7. In the window that appears, find the folder where the game is installed.
8. After choosing the folder, tick the agreements (and read them).
9. Press the "Download and install" button.
10. A quick file check runs. (If you don't have the game installed, it will download and install it for you.)
11. The "Settings", "Update" and "Play" buttons appear on the game page.
Character creation
Enter a character name
A character name can use Cyrillic or Latin letters (not both at once). Maximum 16 characters. Spaces and other special characters can't be used.
If the name is taken, the system will tell you after you press "Create" with a warning at the bottom of the screen: 
Choose a race
There are six races in the game: Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf and Kamael. Starting stats and available classes depend on the chosen race.

Choose a gender
For five races (Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf and Kamael) nothing depends on gender; it's just a different appearance. For the Kamael race, the classes available to the character depend on the chosen gender.
Choose a hairstyle
Choose a hairstyle; depending on race and gender, up to 7 hairstyles are available.
Choose a hair color
Choose a hair color. Depending on race and gender, up to 4 hair colors are available.
Choose a face type
Choose the character's face type. Depending on race and gender, up to 3 face types are available.
After choosing all the options, press "Create".
Attention! If you later don't like your character's hairstyle or face type, you can change it with special potions bought from the Priests of Dawn/Dusk for Ancient Adena.
