Interface
Character creation menu
The character creation and character selection menus have been completely redesigned.
- The background of the character selection menu, which opens after choosing a server, has changed. The background is now inside the Museum in Talking Ilsnad Village, where all newly created characters now begin their journey. The character selection window now also shows the selected character's Reputation, since the Karma system was replaced by the Reputation system.
- The character creation menu was also changed for easier and faster switching between races, class types, genders and customizable appearance.
- Character models are now "dressed" in R-grade weapons and armor.
- When choosing a race and class, the panel on the left lets you read about the race's history and its base stats, and about the classes' stats.
- In addition, there's a Class Path (Class Tree) button; clicking it opens a pop-up window showing the evolution of all classes of the race, and hovering over them shows additional information about each class.
- The rotate and zoom functions for viewing the character now work more smoothly.
- Added a function to check whether a name is available before creating a character.
Skill learning menu
The skill learning system has also undergone some changes.
- You no longer need to use the skill learning functions of NPC to learn new skills; skills can now be learned anywhere in the world at any time (Alt+K).
- When a character levels up, an open book icon appears on the screen if new skills are available to learn.
- The skill learning window looks like this:
- Skill being newly learned: A list of new skills available to learn that were unlocked at this level and that the character has not learned yet.
- Skill to be leveled up: A list of learned skills whose level can be raised.
- Skill to be learned: A list of skills not yet available, which can be learned once you reach the required level.
- The list of learnable skills shows the skill level, MP cost, casting time and reuse time.
- Icons of skills that aren't available yet are dimmed, show no additional information and can't be selected, but you can see their descriptions in a pop-up by hovering the mouse over them.
- In the tab with the list of already learned skills, Active (Active), skills the character can't use because of some conditions or restrictions are dimmed.
- Clicking a skill to learn it opens an additional window Learn Skill (Learn Skill) with basic information about the skill, the amount of SP needed to learn it, and which old skill will be replaced by the new one (for skills of the 4th class).
Map changes
- Added a new icon showing the character's location on the map.
- Added a function that shows all teleport routes.
- The route view can be turned on in the full-size map by ticking Show Teleport Path to Hunting Zone (Route to hunting ground) at the bottom of the map. It can also be turned on with the Tracking (Location) button if the map is minimized to a small window.
- One-way portals are marked in yellow, two-way portals in blue.
- While teleport routes are shown, all peaceful zones are also colored yellow.
- Two locations got the ability to switch between levels (floors): Orbis Temple and Monastery of Silence. For these locations the zoom button is purple instead of blue. You can switch floors by clicking the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the map.
- As before, the map shows cursed weapon drop spots with the corresponding icons and quest points with gold pins, but several navigation functions have now been added. Clicking Tracking (Location) opens a window where you can choose what to track: quests, cursed weapons or Raid Bosses. When you pick a specific item in one of the categories, it's marked on the map with a gold pin, and a sort of compass ring pointing the way appears above the character.
Museum
- The Museum is a new system that constantly records general server statistics and individual statistics for each character on the server. The Museum was created to bring players closer together: they can see where their characters and other people's characters have achieved success, encouraging friendly competition between players who know each other or not.
- The Museum contains 2 types of information: overall, for the server's entire lifetime, and monthly, across many criteria. Pedestals have been installed in all towns and villages, where characters who take first place in certain categories appear as bronze figures.
- Museum statistics are divided into 5 main categories: General, Hunting Field, Raid, PvP and Clan; each is split into several subcategories, about 50 in total, which in turn can be divided by class or grade.
- In the Museum you can find all sorts of information, for example the clan with the most Reputation Points, the character with the highest PvP counter, the character who dealt the most damage to monsters, the highest weapon enchant level on the server for each grade, and even the character with the most deaths.
- You can open the Museum interface via Options or by talking to NPC Museum Keeper in the Museum itself in Talking Island Village.
- The Museum interface window has 2 tabs, View Server Record and View My Record:
- In View My Record you can view information about your character, both overall and this month's achievements, in all categories.
- In View Server Record you can view information about all characters in all categories, both overall and monthly.
Window interface
- The pet or summon window has been expanded and improved. For example, if Wynn Summoner has summoned 4 servitors, information about all four is shown in the new pet interface window.
- A status button was added to the upper right corner of the radar map interface. Clicking the new icon opens a window with a summary of the status of Quest Zones, Campaigns and PvP zones such as Handy's Block Checker (Cubes), Aerial Cleft, Underground Coliseum (Underground Coliseum) and Kratei's Cube (Krateis Cube). No more than seven status summary windows can be open at once.
- Added a function to expand the inventory horizontally. It doesn't affect inventory capacity, but makes it easier to navigate and find items in the inventory.
- Added automatic sorting of contents for the warehouse and private store.
- Any player can view another player's active buffs and debuffs. All positive and negative skills are shown to the right of the selected target's window. You see 8 buffs or debuffs that you applied to the character, and 12 buffs or 24 debuffs applied by someone else, up to 32 effects in total, shown in 3 rows.
- Because the maximum party size changed, the party interface was also changed and now shows up to 7 people with their Vitality and all summoned pets or servitors. The HP and MP of summoned creatures are no longer shown in the party window.
- Added a target marking function. Party leaders can mark characters with icons from the Action (Actions) menu Alt+C.. 4 kinds of icons are available in total. This function makes it easier to cooperate and focus on specific or higher-priority targets during Raids or PvP.
- Many pop-up notifications pointing to important aspects of the game have been added. For example, when you level up and new skills are available to learn, a flashing open-book icon appears on the screen; clicking it opens the skill learning window. Different icons relate to different events: a scroll icon means quest progress and opens the quest list when clicked, a question mark icon opens information for newcomers, and so on.
Menu and Options interface
The Menu and Options interface has been expanded and changed for easier navigation.
Friend manager
- The Friend List (Friends List) interface was changed and renamed to Friend Manager (Contacts), because it's now more than just a friends list. Many new functions were added to make it easier to make friends, find contacts, invite people to the clan, chat with friends, form a party of friends, etc.
- The updated Friend Manager has the following advantages:
- Quick and easy access to friends and the ability to block contacts.
- Inviting people from the friends list to a party.
- Inviting people from the friends list to the clan and sending friend requests to clanmates.
- Sending private messages to people on the friends list or opening a 1-on-1 chat.
- Sending mail to people on the friends list.
- Viewing a friend's character level, class, clan, alliance, character creation date and last time online.
- The ability to write notes for each friend.
- The ability to view a list of characters you've visited instance zones with over the last week and send them friend requests.
- Friend Manager is accessed via the Menu. With this update the Friends (Friends) tab in the Community window will be removed.
Changes to Options
The Options interface was expanded and changed, and some technical terms were replaced with simpler ones. A Basic Setting (Default) button was added to reset all settings to default. A Window Location Reset (Reset windows) button was added to move all game windows to their default positions.
- Bookmark Damage text (Damage text).
- A new tab that lets you configure how any effects on the character are shown as floating text above them, such as damage or critical damage dealt to or by the character, a debuff landing or not, HP loss or recovery, and much more.
- Bookmark Video (Video).
- Gamma (Gamma) was renamed to Brightness (Brightness).

- General changes.
- Option 3D Arrow renamed to Tracking.
- Added options to automatically decline trade, friend requests, party invitations and duels.
- Added an option to show the character's cast bar and buffs/debuffs.
Hotkey changes
- The Shortcut (Shortcuts) window interface was changed for easier navigation.
- With the addition of new interfaces, the default shortcut list was changed. For example:
- The ESC key now closes any open window and cancels almost any action.
- Alt+Y now opens the Friend Manager window instead of the MSN Messenger window.
Video recording
New functionality was added to video recording.
- Recorded video is now saved in .avi format to the Screenshot folder in the game client folder.
- Video recording starts when you press Start/End Recording (Video Recording On/Off) in the character's Action (Actions) menu.
- You can choose the recording quality: Current Resolution (Video resolution - full), Half Resolution (Video resolution - 1/2), 640x480 and 480x320.
- The video recording interface also has a button that opens the folder with recorded videos, but for that you'll have to switch the game client from full-screen to windowed mode.
