PvP and Reputation
With this update, the Karma system is replaced by the Reputation system. The Reputation system is a scale where a character's position changes their state to Chaotic (Chaotic) or Lawful (Lawful).
- Players can no longer lower their PK count with the quest Repent Your Sins.
- Players can lower their PK count only by spending their Fame points at Reputation Manager.
- Chaotic (Chaotic) character:
- A character's status becomes "Chaotic" if their Reputation is negative.
- The character's name turns red.
- While in "Chaotic" status, each further PK increases negative Reputation points.
- While farming and doing quests, characters in "Chaotic" status get no
Exp and
SP, but they do get Reputation Points. This is the only way characters in "Chaotic" status can earn Reputation Points. When a character goes from "Chaotic" to "Neutral" (this only happens when Reputation reaches zero), killing monsters and doing quests will bring
Exp and
SP again, but will no longer give Reputation Points. - The death of a character in "Chaotic" status does not affect their Reputation Points in any way.
- If the PK count of a character in "Chaotic" status is 31 or higher, the character gets a penalty that increases the chance of dropping an item on death. This penalty also covers dropping an augmented item and losing the augmentation.
- On death, a character in "Chaotic" status loses more experience than a character in "Neutral" or "Lawful" status.
- Lawful (Lawful) character:
- A character's status becomes "Lawful" if their Reputation is positive.
- The character's name turns green when Reputation points are above zero.
- If a character in "Lawful" status kills a character in "Chaotic" status, they get 360 Reputation Points.
- If a character in "Lawful" status kills a character 10 or more levels lower, they get no Reputation Points, even if the killed character was in "Chaotic" status.
- After killing a character in "Chaotic" status, points for killing them again can be earned no sooner than 8 hours later.
- If a character in "Lawful" status gets 30 PKs, their Reputation level automatically drops to 0 and cannot rise any higher.
- If a character in "Lawful" status gets 31 or more PKs, the character automatically becomes "Chaotic", and their Reputation Points become negative in proportion to the number of PKs.
- Fixed some typos in duel system messages.
- Party duel requirements have changed because the maximum party size changed to 7.
Clans
Clan Academy
New changes:
| Previous system | New system |
|---|---|

- On top of all that, the Clan also gets
1000 Clan Point for every 10 Newbies who graduate from the Clan Academy. - New buffs have been added for Clan Leaders and Sponsors that can be used on clan Academy members. These buffs' effects are a separate buff and don't override others.
| Skill | Grade | Effect | Reuse |

| Come to Me | 70 and higher | | | |
- Stats
Academy Circlet have been changed: - The Circlet is given as a reward for the quest Follow Me
- The Circlet can no longer be bought from Blacksmith Pinter.
- If a level 40-75 character dies while wearing the Circlet, the experience loss is halved.
- The Circlet cannot be traded or dropped, but it can be stored in a private warehouse or destroyed.
- The new item
Mentor Ring has the following restrictions and stats: - The ring can only be worn by an Academy Newbie or an Academy Graduate.
- The ring belongs to the A-grade category and gives its wearer 52 M. Def. and 22 MP.
- The ring cannot be traded, dropped, crystallized, stored in the clan warehouse, passed through Dimensional Merchant or used in the Olympiad, but it can be destroyed or stored in a private warehouse.
- Clan Oath sets
Clan Oath Armor,
Clan Oath Brigandine and
Clan Oath Aketon can no longer be bought from Blacksmith Pinter. Sets already in the game will not be removed.
- Relations between academy members and clan enemies have changed:
- Academy members of level 70 and higher have the same relations with enemies as other clan members.
- If an Academy member of level 70 or higher kills or is killed by members of an enemy clan, Clan Reputation neither decreases nor increases.
- Academy members can take part in Clan Wars, Castle Sieges, Territory Wars and Fortress Sieges like regular clan members.
Clan skills and clan halls
New clan hall types
- A new type of clan hall has been added to the game: Provisional Clan Halls (Provisional Clan Halls). Unlike regular clan halls, Provisional clan halls are temporary and instanced. With more than 200 Provisional Clan Halls added, clans that don't have permanent clan halls in towns can still enjoy the benefits of clan halls. Provisional clan halls come in 3 types
- If your clan is level 5 or higher and doesn't have its own clan hall, you can get a Provisional Clan Hall by talking to Auctioneer in any town and taking part in the auction.
- The bidding period for Provisional Clan Halls lasts 2 weeks, during which the Clan Leader can freely bid on any of the available clan hall types, as long as the clan level allows it.
- The rent for Provisional Clan Halls is fixed and is not subject to any additional taxes.
- Once obtained, a Provisional Clan Hall stays assigned to the clan for 4 weeks (28 days).
- You can get into a Provisional Clan Hall by talking to Provisional Clan Hall Gatekeeper Kerry or by using
Scroll of Escape: Clan Hall.

- Clan members can now feel the bonuses of some Clan Skills at slightly lower ranks than before. The effects of Clan Skills have also been changed.

Clan wars
- Clan wars have been standardized and will no longer go on endlessly without any goal or result. All data on declared, accepted and refused wars will be reset. New rules now apply.
Declaring war
- War can be declared on clans of level 3 and higher with at least 15 members. The clan declaring war must also meet the same requirements.
- A clan can declare war on no more than 5 clans. But this does not limit the number of wars declared on it by other clans.
- The war declaration functions have not changed.
- After war is declared, a preparation period begins that lasts 3 days (72 hours). When this period ends, the war starts automatically whether or not the clan accepted it; however, if the clan that was declared on responds by accepting, the clan war is declared immediately, with no preparation.
- Having declared war, a clan can withdraw it during the 3-day preparation period.
War progress
- A member of the clan that declared war loses 100% experience if killed by a member of the enemy clan. Members of both clans lose 100% experience if they die to members of the opposing clan in a mutually declared clan war.
- During the three-day preparation period, full PvP rules and effects on the character's Reputation apply, so you cannot attack members of the opposing clan without being flagged, or you will become a PK.
- During the war, killing clan enemies doesn't affect Reputation but increases the PvP counter.
- When attacking a clan enemy, the character's name still turns purple.
- In the Clan Action window, under the War Information option, you can see the clan's standing in the Clan War. The situation can be Dominating/Superior/Evenly Matched/Inferior/Overwhelmed.
- During castle sieges, the PvP siege rules take priority.
Showing opponents
- If wars are declared on a clan, a corresponding symbol appears above enemies, visible only to members of the clans at war.
- During the three-day preparation period, a sword icon is shown above characters of the opposing clan.
- Once the Clan War begins, an icon with two crossed swords is shown above characters of the opposing clan.
End of war
- A clan war automatically ends 3 weeks (21 days) after it starts, and the results are counted.
- The result is calculated from the kill/death statistics of the clan members.
- After the war ends, neither clan can declare war on the other for a week.
- A clan can declare defeat only 7 days after the war starts. A clan that has declared defeat cannot challenge the attacking clan for 3 weeks (21 days), and vice versa.
- If a clan declares defeat, the Clan War ends and victory is automatically awarded to the opposing clan.
Changes to Party, Vitality and Exp
Vitality
- Previously each character had their own Vitality. With the update, Vitality becomes shared by all characters on one account. Whichever character you play, Vitality is capped at a certain maximum and refreshes once a week.
- Vitality no longer recovers while the character is in a peaceful zone or offline.
- Use of items affecting Vitality is limited to five (later seven) items per week. Any potions and effects that delay or replenish Vitality fall into this category and are limited by the weekly use limit. Special items such as
Birthday Cake do not fall into this category, and they don't affect the available number of uses per week. - Vitality is no longer divided into stages; now the character gets a 200% experience bonus if they have any Vitality at all, and doesn't get it if they have none.
- Killing Raid Monsters no longer gives Vitality.
- All tinctures affecting Vitality that dropped from monsters have been removed.
- If a character kills monsters with non-zero Vitality, the drop chance of Weapon Pouch, Armor Pouch and Enchant Pouch increases. When farming in a party, all party members with Vitality also increase the chances.
- The Recommendation system has stayed almost unchanged, except for one thing: only 5 recommendation points are lost per day, not 20 as before.
- The Nevit's Blessing (Nevit's Blessing) system has been removed from the game. Its interface has been removed, as has NPC Priest of Blessing. All existing Nevit's Hourglass (Nevit's Hourglasses) will be removed with the update, and any obtained after the update will give a 50% bonus to experience gained. All other Nevit-related items characters have on hand will not be removed, but their effects will be changed.
- Besides its old effects, the item
Nevit's Voice now also gives
100,000 when used.
XP
- The maximum character level has changed from 85 to 99.
- Reduced the experience needed to level a character from 20 to 85.
- Increased the penalty for level difference with monsters:
- A character of level 84 or lower will not get experience and skill points for killing a monster 11 levels above or below the character.
- A character of level 85 or higher will get an experience and skill point penalty for killing a monster 3 levels above or below the character. The penalty grows in proportion to the level difference.
Mentoring system
- All characters of level 1 and above can make a mentoring contract with another character on the same server who has completed Awakening (Awakening). The contract binds two characters and gives additional strong buffs and increased XP gain if the Mentor and Mentee are online at the same time.
- You can also find all the relevant information in the game by talking to NPC Mentor Guide in any town.
Buffs
- Mentor (Mentor) and Mentee (Mentee) will get boosting buffs if both characters are online:
- Mentor (Drill Sergeant) gets:
-
Mentor's Lute Melody - With the Mentee's Appreciation, experience and SP gained increase by 10%. Even though a Mentor can have up to 3 mentees, the buff is applied only once.
-
- Mentee (Mentee) gets (these buffs don't apply to subclasses):
-
Mentor's Lute Melody - With the Mentor's help, XP and SP points gained increase by 200%. -

Increases the Critical Damage of normal attacks for party members who have a melee weapon equipped and have taken a certain amount of damage. -
Mentor's Lute Melody - With the Mentor's help: Atk. Spd. +34%, Casting Spd. +31%. Has a 9% chance to apply the Vampiric effect. -

-
- Mentor (Drill Sergeant) gets:
Conditions
- Only a character who has completed the 4th class change quest (Seize Your Destiny) can be a Mentor.
- Only a character on their main class, below level 86 and carrying
Mentee Certificate can be a Mentee. - A Mentor can have a contract with at most three Mentees at a time. A Mentee can have only one Mentor.
How to get Mentee Certificate
-
Mentee Certificate is given to all new characters and to characters who have been absent from the game for 3 or more months. Mentee Certificate can also be obtained from any Dimensional Merchant on first entering the game, or on entering the game after a break of 3 months.
- On the European official server, this item can be obtained through the website by meeting certain conditions:
- When your character reaches level 40, visit Path to Awakening. You don't have to log out of the game.
- Specify the server and the character who has reached level 40.
- At the bottom of the page, press Claim Reward next to the line named Level 40 The second class transfer. Characters who reached level 40 before the Goddess of Destruction update was installed can't get this reward.
- Find NPC Dimensional Merchant in any large town and choose the Retrieve a Dimensional Item function. A list of items you can take will open, including Mentee Certificate.
- Note: The way to get Mentee Certificate will change in the future. You can also keep using Path to Awakening to get the other rather nice bonuses.
How to sign a contract
- For this, the Mentee just needs to find a character who meets the requirements, using in-game communication or the forum. As soon as a suitable Mentor sends a contract offer, the Mentee will get a message showing the Mentor's name, class and level.
- To send a contract offer, both characters must be online, and the Mentor needs to do the following:
- Open the system menu, choose the Friend Manager function (Alt+Y) and go to the Mentoring tab.
- Press the + symbol to add a Mentee.
- Enter the name of a character who meets the Mentee requirements and press Add to list, after which the character will be sent an invitation.
- When the character accepts the offer, they officially become your Mentee and you their Mentor. From this moment all buffs and bonuses are activated, and all buffs become available.
- The Mentor and Mentee can break the contract at any time. After the contract is broken, the Mentor can't make a new contract with any other Mentee for 7 days. The Mentee gets no penalties and can immediately make a new contract with another Mentor.
- The Mentoring tab is visible only to characters who can become Mentors and to Mentees who have already made a contract.
Mentee Coin
- Every time the Mentee gains a new level, the Mentor receives by mail a certain number of
Mentee Coin, which can be exchanged for useful items with Mentor Guide in any town. The higher the level the Mentee reaches, the more Mentee Coin the Mentor gets.
End of training
- Once your character reaches level 86, you will receive
Mentor's Qualification, the contract with your mentor will be terminated, and you can no longer be a Mentee. The newly minted Mentor can sign contracts 5 days after Awakening (completing the 4th class change). After completing the 4th class change quest, you can exchange
Mentee Certificate for
40 Diploma at any Mentor Guide, which can then be exchanged for R-grade items.
Changes for newcomers
- The progression system for newbies has been completely reworked to make learning the game, developing your character, earning money and getting gear easier up to character level 40. A new series of newbie quests lets all new players go through the tutorial and learn about the story of the Goddess of Destruction update.
- The functions of Newbie Guide have been completely changed: they no longer give any items to newbies and can only be found in a few towns, such as Talking Island Village, Gludin Village, Town of Gludio. To get newbie buffs you no longer need to talk to Newbie Guide; just walk past, and the Helper will buff the character on its own.
- When a character reaches level 40, in addition to the reward for the second profession, all characters also get
Goddess of Destruction Guide Level 40-85. The book describes recommended leveling locations and daily quests up to level 85. When a character reaches level 85, another book is given,
Goddess of Destruction Guide Level 85-99, describing suitable leveling locations up to level 99.
Automatic party matching
The Party Replacement System (Automatic Party Matching) system has been added to the game to make it easier to find a party or a party member. The system checks the character's level and class and automatically suggests the candidate to the party leader.
- Looking for a party:
- When you log in, the party search window opens and the character is automatically placed in the party search system. Until the Stop button is pressed, the system will look for a suitable party for the character.
- To join the queue again, press the Start/Stop Automatic Party Search button in the Action menu.
- When a suitable party is found for the character, the party search window is replaced by an invitation window that shows the party's location, its type (leveling, Raid, etc.) and the suggested role.
- If the applicant decides to join, they are teleported to the party leader. The party member being replaced has three minutes to leave the party, unless the party leader removes them. Once the member being replaced leaves the party, your character automatically joins it.
- Replacing a party member:
- Only the party leader can start a search to replace a party member or fill a missing slot.
- To replace a party member, click the icon in the upper right corner next to the character's name in the party search menu. This marks the character as "to be replaced", and the system starts looking for another character suitable by level and class.
- When the system finds a character that meets the requirements, the party search window disappears, while the invited character receives an invitation window to join the party. If the character declines the invitation, a system message appears in chat. To continue the search, you need to re-register the party member you want to replace.
- If the character accepts the invitation to join the party, they are immediately moved to the party leader (provided the party's location has no teleport restrictions). A new window will say that a replacement has been found and will take place after the character being replaced leaves the party, or automatically after three minutes. The party leader can force the replacement with the Immediate Replacement button.
- After a party member is replaced, all party members get buffs:
- Momentary Invincibility: Invulnerability for 10 seconds.
- Increased Concentration: Experience gained increased by 3% for 10 minutes.
- The party search system cannot be used in the following cases:
- The character is in an Epic Raid Boss zone.
- The character is in a zone where summoning is forbidden (summon).
- The character is in a temporary instance zone.
- The character is registered for or taking part in Territory Wars.
- The character is registered for or taking part in PvP events.
Seven Signs
- To restore her power, Shilen sacrificed all the creatures in Necropolis and Catacombs throughout Aden, leaving behind only a deadly aura of destruction. King Amadeo Cadmus orders access to all Necropolises and Catacombs to be closed so that no traveler can get inside and the deadly aura cannot escape the dungeons. With the Catacombs and Necropolises closed, all related quests and systems have been removed or changed:
- The effects of the seals Seals of Avarice, Seals of Gnosis and Seals of Strife no longer work.
- The maximum castle tax rate is set to 15%.
- NPC mercenaries Greater Mercenary and Dawn Mercenary for castle defense, tied to Seals of Strife, are no longer available.
- Prices of siege-related systems and functions no longer depend on the Seals.
- The Festival of Darkness and Dimensional Rift instances are no longer available.
- The Raid Bosses Anakim and Lilith are no longer available.
-
Scroll of Ancient Magic, which were obtained in the Catacombs and Necropolises, have been added to the drop of regular monsters. - Blacksmith of Mammon and Merchant of Mammon now move randomly between 11 towns.
- All functions of Dusk Priestess and Priest of Dawn are now performed by Priest of Mammon.
- All items and functions that used to require
Ancient Adena are now sold and performed for regular Adena. - Any Seal Stones left on hand can be exchanged at Priest of Mammon for Ancient Adena, which can then be exchanged for regular Adena.
