Quest Under the Shadow of the Ivory Tower

Only mystic characters of battle mage and summoner classes can take the quest:
Humans - Wizard, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Warlock.
Elves - Elven Wizard, Elemental Summoner.
Dark Elves - Dark Wizard, Spellhowler, Phantom Summoner.

The long-sought-after mineral, Nebulite, was used by the ancient giants as a magic amplifier. A secret mission is underway to secure a supply of it.

Nebulite Orb
- Target: Ivory Tower Crater
- Magic Trader Cema asks you to collect Nebulite Orbs by killing the monsters that live in the Ivory Tower Crater. Actually, Cema hired Collectors Marsha and Trumpin for this, but they went missing. Maybe you'll run into them.
  
  Hunting targets: Manashen Gargoyle, Enchanted Monstereye, Enchanted Stone Golem, Enchanted Iron Golem.

Nebulite Orb
- Target: Ivory Tower Crater
- Magic Trader Cema asks you to collect Nebulite orbs by killing monsters in a crater near the Ivory Tower of Oren. Dwarven Collector Marsha and Collector Trumpin were originally hired to do this work but Cema has not heard from them since they left. While collecting the orbs, if you happen to run into them, ask them what happened. Hunt manashen gargoyles, enchanted monster eyes, enchanted stone golems and enchanted iron golems.

Quest walkthrough

Talk to Magic Trader Cema in Hardin's Academy .
- You can get there via Gatekeeper from Town of Oren, Hunters Village and Town of Giran. Or on foot through Death Pass from Giran, then east along the river. Eventually the valley will lead you to an evil-looking cave entrance.
Go to Ivory Tower Crater , kill Manashen Gargoyle (lv. 47), Reinforced Monster Eye (lv. 47), Reinforced Stone Golem (lv. 47), Reinforced Steel Golem (lv. 47) and collect Nebulite Orb.
When you decide you've collected enough Nebulite Orb, return to Cema for your reward.

Reward

There are three kinds of rewards for this task:

Sell each one Nebulite Orb for 125 Adena.
Exchange Nebulite Orb for the following items:
- Haste Potion - 10 Nebulite Orb
- Scroll of Resurrection - 15 Nebulite Orb
- Potion of Alacrity - 20 Nebulite Orb
- 10 Cursed Bone - 20 Nebulite Orb
- Scroll: Enchant Armor (D-grade) - 100 Nebulite Orb
- Scroll: Enchant Armor (C-grade) - 400 Nebulite Orb
Buy Ectoplasm Liqueur from Cema for 200 Nebulite Orb and use it with the nearby Lich King Icarus , hoping to get one of the following rewards (the list may be incomplete):
- Scroll: Enchant Weapon (D-grade)
- Scroll: Enchant Weapon (C-grade)
- 500 Spiritshot (D-grade)
- 500 Spiritshot (C-grade)
- Scroll of Escape

You can also gamble with the Nebulite Orb you've collected. There are two dwarves in Ivory Tower Crater — Marsha and Trumpin:
- Collector Marsha is in the northern half of the crater, at the foot of the tower. She'll offer you a game of Rock/Scissors/Paper (Rock/Scissors/Paper) for Nebulite Orb. Each game costs 10 Nebulite Orb. If you win, you get 20 Nebulite Orb. If it's a draw, you get your 10 Nebulite Orb back. She can lose to you exactly as many Nebulite Orb as you've collected hunting monsters.
- Collector Trumpin is in the southern half of the crater, on the outer wall, a little west of the bridge. He'll offer you a simple game: you guess Head or Tails (literally Head/Tail, or Heads/Tails in plain words); guess right and you win 10 Nebulite Orb, guess wrong and your 10 Nebulite Orb go to Trumpin. Guess 2 times in a row and you get 30 Nebulite orb, the third time 70, and so on. It's calculated by the formula: ((previous win x2)+10). But you can only lose 10 Nebulite Orb in one round. You can play as long as you like.
